About the Game

Embark on a mystical journey to Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist, and find your home away from home! Follow in the footsteps of the legendary hero Eldranis. Fight for the people, master diverse professions and socialize in the local tavern with fun mini-games. In Eldramoor, everyone is accepted for who they are. But a darkness, long locked away, has come creeping back. Uncover the land’s troubled history and defend the island from an ancient force that threatens to destroy everything in its path.

A Massively Multiplayer World

Eldramoor is vast and full of unique environments to experience. The game world features five distinct zones—each with a wildly different biome—full of inhabitants to meet, treasures to loot, and challenges to conquer. Exploration is rewarded, and staying on the beaten path will miss half the fun, so be sure to leave no stone unturned as you run, climb and glide your way across the island.

Social Experience

At its core, Eldramoor is a social game designed around multiplayer interactions. With guilds, dungeons, PvP, and special events, there’s always something to do with your friends. Add in all the little experiences like multiplayer profession “trains”, player-to-player trade, and stacking powerups with the open-world bonfire system, you’ll quickly see why Eldramoor thrives on real interactions between real players.

Combat Freedom

In Eldramoor, you build your class your way. Choose from a huge list of skills, each of which scale in a multitude of ways. If you want to cast a fireball the size of a house, this is the place to do it. If you want that fireball to explode into a rain of burning embers, that’s another route you could take.

And if that fireball doesn’t suit the fight, change your class on the fly. Each character can level every class, and gear isn’t class-locked, so nothing is stopping you from playing a mage in full plate then swapping to a robe-wearing warrior. This is your world, so play your way!

Self-Expression

Expressing yourself is part of the human experience, and VR provides an incredible medium for doing so. Eldramoor takes full advantage of this by providing body options, outfits, and accessories—none of which are gender-locked—so you can truly be yourself, or whomever you want to be! And you won’t be alone. Our cast of characters is just as unique as you are.

Accessibility

Eldramoor is a bold take on accessibility in a medium and genre that can be inaccessible to many. Robust comfort settings ensure that everyone can move, fight, and play regardless of motion sickness, colorblindness, or sound sensitivity. Intuitive gameplay motions and a guided new player experience ensure that no matter how familiar you are with MMOs, RPGs, or VR, you’ll be able to pick up a controller and play.

Choose Your Challenge

Playing your way is as much about difficulty as it is about freeform builds and diverse character options. Eldramoor is designed to offer plenty of gameplay at different challenge levels so that players can take on whatever they find fun. If you’re a hardcore raider, hop into our endgame dungeons; we’ll put you to the test. If you don’t know what that sentence means, explore the open world.

It’s full of rare monsters to tackle and treasures to find. If none of that appeals to you, hit the crafting bench. The recipes have a full range of difficulty, too! Whatever your mood, there’s something for you to do in Eldramoor.

Story

Eldramoor was born when a ship of refugees, fleeing persecution, was blown off course by a storm and washed ashore on a mysterious island. Exhausted and alone, the travelers established the settlement of Eldramoor in the wild and seemingly abandoned territory they found. Over time, explorers mapped the nearby regions, each bound by powerful leylines that influence both terrain and creatures.

A land of blistering heat and rolling dunes, Arinod is the homeland of the competitive, vibrant Sauravi. Fertile with mushrooms as tall as the sky, Zobu brims with colossal flora and fauna as well as the resilient Bunfolk. Both stunningly beautiful and unimaginably dangerous, Glacera’s high peaks weed out all but the toughest. And Torcia, whose twisted landscape and warped creatures are haunted by a terrifying past.

From mountains to mushroom forests, each realm reveals its own trials and mysteries, calling brave adventurers to uncover all that Eldramoor has to offer.

Tales from Eldramoor — Devlog #3

Hey everyone, time flies, it's already September, and it means a brand new devlog for you! Today, we'll show you what the team has been up to lately, including an update on the Kickstarter rewards, some new reveals like monster sounds, Zobu Soundtrack, and more - so you can catch up on the development updates! 🏆Kickstarter Reward FulfillmentIf you are one of the Kickstarter backers (thank you very much!), we have some great news for you! We have officially begun reaching out to Kickstarter backers, especially those whose reward tiers include opportunities to help create something unique for Eldramoor, like custom items, quests, and other special contributions. If that includes you, but you have not been invited to a private channel on Discord yet, please reach out and let us know!🌄Improved Day & Night CycleA few months ago, we shared an early version of Eldramoor's Day & Night cycle. Since then, we have continued improving the way the sky, lighting, shadows, colors, and overall atmosphere shift as time passes. The system is still a work in progress; lighting, nighttime visibility, transitions, weather interactions, and the balance between atmosphere and playability will continue to evolve as development moves forward. Take a look at the video below and see for yourselves!🔊 The Wild Sounds of EldramoorWe have shown you quite a few of the creatures that inhabit Eldramoor, but there is one part of bringing them to life that we have not shared much of yet: what they sound like. Today, we are changing that! This is another example of how we are using sound to give Eldramoor's creatures more personality and presence in the world, making exploration feel richer even when you cannot immediately see what is nearby. 🍄Something is Lurking — Gaunt HystrigaA twisted mass of fungal growths and sinewy limbs, the Gaunt Hystriga is the kind of creature that might make you hesitate when you catch a glimpse of it lurking among the bioluminescent landscapes of Zobu. Its unique SFX give...

Tales from Eldramoor — Devlog #1

Hey everyone,We are back! We've heard that you were curious about what we have been up to lately and what we have to share - sit tight because we have tons of new stuff! 🗺️ Eldramoor Zone Map PreviewYou've heard the rumors about Eldramoor being full of mysteries and such.. but have you ever wondered what it actually looks like? This does not represent the full world of Eldramoor, but it does show the shape and variety of the primary zone many of you experienced when playing our Alpha earlier this year. Here you can see the relative scale of the Town, Emerald Thicket, Rolling Hills, and Mystic Wood regions. Hopefully, this map gives a better sense of how different environments are being connected into one larger explorable space. Here is a quick look on each of the regions:Eldramoor TownEmerald ThicketRolling HillsMystic WoodThey are all waiting to be explored by you, when the game launches next year!☀️Dynamic Day & Night CycleToday, we are also super happy to show you our dynamic day & night cycle system! Of course, it may be called Day & Night, but if you look closely - you'll see more weather conditions. 👀 Imagine watching the sun set over the Rolling Hills with your party after a long adventure, or preparing for a dangerous journey as night falls and the world shifts around you. Incredible and unforgettable feeling, ain't it?🎨 Dye System Showcase We. love. customization. And to help you fully express yourself, we are introducing a dye system! This system is still in development, but even in its current demo state, it shows how much freedom players could have when customizing their character’s appearance. We are not just talking about simple color swaps. The Dye System is being built to support custom colors, predefined gradients, multiple dye regions, swappable pattern effects, and even emissions that can make certain gear really stand out. Let us know about your plans to customize your character with the new system! 👀 And now.. can we get some drum rolls please? ...

    🌎Welcome to Eldramoor.

Hey everyone,This is our first-ever news post on Steam, and we are super delighted to show you more from Eldramoor. Please keep in mind that everything you see below is a work in progress and does not represent the final quality.Join us in the tavern and let's talk! A Brand New Adventure We all missed the social adventure MMORPGs and are constantly looking for a new home. So we decided to build our own. You may ask, what's so different than other MMORPGs that have tried the same thing? We are all gamers, coming from the MMORPG communities. We understand your expectations and why you feel jaded after searching for a new home in many different worlds. In Eldramoor, you'll embark on a mystical journey where you have the freedom to become whoever you want. Live your blacksmithing dreams, forge new weapons and armors. Or grab your fishing rod and become a fisherman! Cooking? Yeah, we have that too. And while you're doing all these, you can always enjoy a chit-chat with your friend by your side or just another adventurer - watching you work! 👀 (Alpha Test footage, does not represent the final quality.) And if you need a little break, join your friends at the tavern for a good time with mini-games or just a tavern talk.We value the social experience you all missed in the MMOs. After all, can we really call it an MMORPG if you don't have the social experience? We have much more to share with you in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! What We Are Working On Since the Alpha days are over, our team is working hard on the feedback we've got from our players. We learned a lot about your expectations and how we can improve certain features (like combat) even further. We can already see some progress in our internal builds and can't wait to show you more! We are also working on some new mobs, animations, environments, and worldbuilding elements - there is something for everyone! What's Next Alpha was the beginning, not the finish line. What we’re building now is a more refined, more int...
