Play Sashimi Slayer at GDC!
We're excited to announce that Sashimi Slayer will be playable in the GDC festival hall again this year! After debuting at alt.ctrl.GDC in 2025, we're back with new content and improvements, including an additional level, controller support, and an overhauled UI and settings menu. You can find Sashimi Slayer at the Sacramento Developer Collective (SDC) booth in the underground crossover area between the Moscone Center's North and South Halls (a GDC pass is required to access this area). Sashimi Slayer will be playable on controller whenever the festival hall is open, but come by between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm on Friday, March 13th, to meet some of the developers and play the game the way it was meant to be played: with a custom sword controller!Festival Hall Hours (PT):Wednesday, March 11 | 10:00 am – 6:00 pmThursday, March 12 | 10:00 am – 6:00 pmFriday, March 13 | 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Game Developers Conference 2026 Moscone Center, San FranciscoRead full article on Community Announcements (shrimpfriedricegames)Patch NotesOfficial

Sashimi Slayer is Now Available!
You can now play Sashimi Slayer at home on Steam! It supports gamepad controllers (recommended), mouse and keyboard, and is even Steam Deck Verified! We're excited to have made Sashimi Slayer playable outside of exhibiting and without the custom sword controller (which we still hope to release build plans for, for those of you interested in making your own). Special thanks to the thousands of you who have played Sashimi Slayer between GDC, PAX West, Open Sauce, Maker Faire, etc., and thank you to our friends and supporters who have playtested and exhibited with us. Now, go! That sashimi's not going to slay itself!Read full article on Community Announcements (shrimpfriedricegames)
