About this game

Rifts have torn open in cities across the world, and no one knows what's driving them. You are tasked with building a guild of unique heroes, level them up to crazy power spikes and combine their abilities with items and relics to break the game and unveil the unknown cause of the rift crisis.

Adapt each run as different things are offered to you. With infinite build freedom without a PvP meta that would force certain strategies, every run feels like a new puzzle. As you learn the depth of options available you’ll become an expert at pivoting mid-run, reshaping any makeshift team into an unstoppable force.

Every hero has their starting class and ability, but you choose where they end. With over 500 unique ways to level up and shape each hero, get creative and turn a backline healer into a frontline tank or a ranged dps into a melee brawler. Or, pair two lovers on the battlefield for rapid scaling bonuses.

  • Unlock Heroes, items and relics. Run-by-run, unlock new heroes, relics and items to discover 25 heroes, 180 specializations, 300+ relics and 100+ items in the demo alone.

  • Play on your clock. No timer, no queue, no PvP. Think as long as you want, save mid-run, and come back when life lets you.

  • Break every hero out of their class. 25 heroes across 75 spec paths, and a modifier pool that stacks across classes. Draft, level, respec, and build unfair comps.

  • Progress through 8 difficulties. Every successful run unlocks a harder challenge for the next. Stack fresh modifiers to climb up the difficulty ladder, then hit Endless mode to chase the top of the global leaderboards.

  • Weekly Patches and an active Community. Since we launched the alpha in January of this year, we have been updating and evolving the game every week. Join us along the ride and shape Guildrun with us!

This week was mostly about development groundwork, alongside concept and production work on a brand-new hero. We'll have more news about the beta for you soon.On the demo side, this update brings a set of fixes suggested by the community, including performance improvements for status-effect builds and fixes for several effects that weren't working as intended.⭐ = Community Suggestions ⭐ Improved game performance when playing status-based builds⭐ Fixed Burn Catalyst incorrectly dealing bonus damage to all enemies instead of just burning one. Patch 0.5.9

Hello Guildmasters!Welcome to our weekly update. First of all, thank you to everyone who is playing our demo for the feedback and the kind words you keep sharing with us. We’re grateful for all of you. Now, a quick update on our work behind the scenes on the full game: we created new art pieces for a new biome and new heroes, and worked on a system for highlighting hexes affected by placement effects (e.g. adjacency, first row, last row, etc.). We're excited to share a beta version with you in the future, but we're still laying groundwork on the full game before that's ready to show.In the meantime, we have a demo update for you which also includes some balance changes. As always, changes marked by "⭐" were suggested by you. Let's jump into the changes:General ChangesTimer statuses (like Stealth, Stun and Damage Immunity) will now display on the health bars how much time is left Bug Fixes⭐ Cleaned up Compendium Class Upgrade boxes so they have the same height⭐ Fixed hero picker Reroll tooltip area⭐ Fixed spacing on Relics on Relic Bazaar in the Auction House Balance Changes By Aleco, Lead Designer on Guildrun Hey everyone! I’m back from my break and here with another balance patch for you all to enjoy. At this stage of the demo we have already begun to decrease the scope of our patches so that we can increase our focus on the full release of Guildrun. Most of the changes in this week’s patch are mostly numbers-only, and the goal with these changes (as always) is to increase the number of viable choices for players across all game modes. It contains mainly buffs to Items, Relics, Class Modifiers, and a few Hero Specializations which were underperforming compared to their counterparts.
