Cryptid Keeper 1.1.7 Update
It's been a while, my dear Cryptid wranglers!Here are the latest patch notes for 1.1.7 update:Fixed Hybrid enclosure repair cost: It was throwing an error for some players and charging 650 CrypCoin to repair. Now it's cheaper and fully works at only 50 CrypCoin per repair.Added longer food timers: Food timers were a problem for some, so now they are more balanced.Fixed some save/load issues: Some players encountered broken saves, it's now working.Multiple QOL/backend code fixes.Controller adaptability: Controllers should be plug and play for most. (However, if you still have problems, please have a tinker with the stream controller layout/Steam Input and it should work. Some controllers may not be compatible. I designed the game around a standard Xbox style controller).The Future of Cryptid Keeper:While continuing to develop Cryptid Keeper isn't financially sustainable as an ongoing project, I still want to keep working on it and will continue to address any important gameplay issues or necessary fixes in updates such as this one (1.1.7).The big 2.0.0 update is something I'd still really like to make happen. Game development takes a lot of time, especially as a solo developer, so I can't promise an exact release date just yet. Here are details for the latest updates and improvements on the game!Cryptid Keeper V.1.1.5 Patch Notes:This is the last update before Version 1.2.0 is released (more info below on v.1.2.0)Gameplay Additions:Added Cryptids on World Map: Added a variety of Cryptids which now appear and can be hunted on the World Map. Adding a greater variety for hunting, and adds life to the world map. Not all cryptids are available like this on the map, some can only be found with traps and radar pings.Added back-end code changes to help make the game run even smoother.UFO Mystery Encounter changed to be a little less rare on the map. (Only a little!
