About this game
Out Fishing is a first-person horror fishing game, where you try to rebuild your life at an abandoned lake haunted by the memories of a forgotten disappearance. Fish during the day, upgrade your gear, build your camp, and earn an income. However, stay too long after sunset, and you’ll find that danger moves through the forest, hides in the fog, and sometimes rises from the water when the lights go out.
FISH BY DAY
Explore a calm yet unsettling wilderness. Search for rare fish and scattered remnants of the past. Time is your enemy, but the farther you go, the closer you get to the truth. Use what you catch to improve your equipment and your lakeside hideout - a fragile safe zone where the line between memory and hallucination starts to blur.

Each night unfolds the nightmare a little further through cryptic encounters and unsettling discoveries, echoing the psychological dread of games like Alan Wake, Mundaun, or Silent Hill. What begins as a simple task becomes a descent into obsession, where you are slowly losing your grip on reality.

Out Fishing hit a new Wishlist milestone!
Hello everyone, Ever since we’ve released the demo, I’ve been looking at the Steam wishlists numbers at least twice daily. At least. And ever since the demo went live, it’s been one heck of a rollercoaster. Seeing soo many streamers and YouTubers play the game and getting freaked out live as they play is honestly a blast to watch! It’s also been nerve-wracking too - it’s the first time people got to play my game! However, seeing all the positive comments in the chats and on Discord has been really motivating. So thank you for all for the support. It means a ton. I also want to say thank you to all of you 35,000 people who wishlished Out Fishing on Steam - that’s incredible! Seriously, that is a football stadium's worth of people who are following my game. My mind is blown. I’ve also seen all the bugs that you noticed and your suggestions on how the game can be improved. I’ve been working on these fixes and updates for the last few days. Not only will these fixes go into the final version of the game, but I’ve also updated the demo with the fixes too. Hello everyone, I am absolutely thrilled to say that the Out Fishing playtests are officially open! Although I might’ve been quiet over the last few months, behind the scenes, I’ve been working hard on the Out Fishing demo. And now, finally I am getting ready to show the game to the world.
