About this game
LET HELL FARM ITSELF
Desktop Hellfarmer turns the familiar RPG grind into a game that lives beside your day. While you work, study, watch videos, or play something else, your hero keeps fighting in the corner of your screen. Look back when new loot arrives, make a few important choices, and send the hero into the dark again.
CHASE THE NEXT GREAT DROP
Every run brings new gear. Most of it will become Gold. Sometimes one item makes you want to reshape the whole build. Keep what feels right, sell what does not, and tune the loot filter so the exciting drops rise above the noise.
BUILD FOR WHAT COMES NEXT
Spend Gold across a branching skill tree, choose where the hero farms, and push into harsher difficulties. Permanent Agony ranks let the journey keep growing without wiping away the road behind you. The deeper you go, the more every choice matters.
MADE TO LIVE BESIDE YOUR DAY
Desktop Hellfarmer does not ask you to clear an evening for it. Give it a comfortable corner of the screen, let the farm run beside whatever else you are doing, and step back in whenever a drop or a new decision catches your eye.
THE FARM DOES NOT HAVE TO STOP
Unlock offline progress through the skill tree and return to XP and Gold earned while the game was closed. Even time away can feed the next upgrade, the next choice, and the next push forward.
THE HERO HANDLES THE FIGHT. YOU SHAPE THE JOURNEY.
There is no need to click through every attack or babysit every fight. The pleasure is in seeing the drop you were waiting for, deciding whether to keep or sell it, watching a build take shape, and sending the hero somewhere that felt out of reach yesterday.

Update v.0.3.1 — Balance, Performance, New Languages
Balance Progression pacing is tuned for the new combat: each difficulty lasts as long as intended, and strong and weak heroes clear it in comparable time. Agony is now a proper endgame: ranks no longer fly by too fast, and Agony IV and VIII feel like new tiers. The Hell zone 2 boss hits softer, so you are less likely to get stuck on it. Prices of the upper Gold Tree rings grew along with gold income, so the tree is still completed around the middle of Agony. Performance The game is noticeably lighter on your computer: in the background it runs at 30 FPS (you can pick 60 in the Inactive FPS setting), and when minimized it spends almost nothing on rendering. Combat is lighter on the CPU and GPU, and the game uses less memory and writes to disk less often. Languages The game is translated into 16 more languages: Italian, Portuguese (Portugal), Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Hungarian, Czech, Romanian, Bulgarian, Greek, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Malay. In every language except Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Thai, windows and combat now use the game's single font, and letters are no longer replaced by a system font. In languages with grammatical gender, rare item names now agree in gender; long words wrap properly instead of breaking mid-word; and Gold Tree prices now show a coin icon. Settings Volume is now the first row in Settings: a speaker button turns all sound off and on, and the SFX and Music sliders unfold with an arrow. Fixes The hero no longer stays underground if their armor changed during Seismic Leap. At a small window size, every equipment slot is visible in the inventory again. Fixed cut-off text and awkward line breaks in many languages. Dropdown lists no longer show an extra horizontal scrollbar.Read full article on Community Announcements (BoDy51)Patch NotesOfficial
Update v.0.3.0 — Combat Overhaul
Combat and visuals have been thoroughly reworked: new skills and enemies, new zones and bosses, legendary items, and a rebalance to match. New combat The Barbarian has three combat skills: Whirlwind, Fire Cleave, and Seismic Leap. They trigger automatically and are upgraded with level points in the new Combat Skills window. There are more enemies, and they are more varied and aggressive: archers and mages join the fight, enemies surround the hero, and each one shows a health bar. Hits feel truly heavy: Whirlwind carries the hero through the crowd, Seismic Leap stuns, Fire Cleave scorches the ground, and slain enemies burn to ash. Zones and bosses Zones are now procedurally generated. They are larger, more open, and more varied, with new objects and obstacles. Every boss now has its own arena. Loot 14 new legendary items with unique effects. Items and gold now drop on the ground, and the hero collects them after the fight. Balance Progression is fully rebalanced for the new combat: hero levels add damage and health, while life steal is weaker on higher difficulties and against bosses. Interface and sound The battle window has an improved design and new full-screen and transparent modes. The game now has sounds for every action, and Settings gains a master volume slider. Fixes Fixed hundreds of translation errors in Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and other languages. Items now have proper descriptions in Russian and Chinese. Fixed many other bugs throughout the game.Read full article on Community Announcements (BoDy51)Patch NotesOfficial

Update v.0.2.1
Languages and interface Desktop Hellfarmer is now available in 14 languages: English, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Polish, Turkish, and Thai. Added an adaptive language selector at the top of Settings, making it easier to switch languages at any time. Improved localized fonts, button fitting, label alignment, and text wrapping throughout the interface. Steam Cloud and save safety Added Steam Auto-Cloud support for gameplay saves across Windows PCs and Steam Deck. Device-specific preferences now stay local, so window and display settings do not overwrite each other between devices. Expanded automatic backup recovery to better protect progress if the main save becomes unavailable. Interface fixes Reworked the loot review card so long item stats and comparisons remain readable without overlapping. Improved toolbar spacing, difficulty text contrast, rank alignment, and dropdown stability at the compact 640×480 window size. Fixed localization loading in Windows builds and added a safe fallback if a language cannot initialize.Read full article on Community Announcements (BoDy51)
