About this game

Fast, frantic, and stylish, Blitzstrike blends tight 2D gunplay with cinematic moments, hidden paths, and an explosive climax. It’s a short, sweet, sharp blast of arcade action designed to be beaten in under an hour but packed with enough secrets and style to keep speedrunners and explorers coming back for more.

Meet Trixel: a pink-haired, trigger-happy bounty hunter with a sharp tongue, sharper reflexes, and zero patience for standing still. When a mysterious threat resurfaces, Trixel is thrust into a high-speed, high-stakes mission across a green-lit neon city, a sky-high bridge, and rooftops that barely hold beneath her boots. Along the way, she faces off against deadly bots, tight spaces, and a vicious threat who might just be her deadliest rival, or her only way out.

Wishlist my next game, "Time, Line"

Hey Everyone!I am very proud and excited to announce that my next game, Time, Line is now available to wishlist!!!Time, Line is a very special and personal project to me because it actually existed before Blitzstrike's release, as yet another school project gone haywire. But unlike Blitzstrike, Time, Line takes all the color and vibrance from Blitzstrike and... tells it to get bent.In Time, Line, you play as a nameless square in a cold, minimalist world where you are limited to one dimensional movement on a seemingly endless line. Everything seems still until you move. Then, and only then, the world awakens. Enemies appear, and so do openings that appear for a split second before vanishing. You need to use the control of time to thread through this world, but only at your own pace. Sterile yet full of life, Time, Line rewards you by taking your time. Seems straightforward, until you have to navigate brutal puzzles that are only traversable through the power of time manipulation. Learn the situations you find yourself in, and thread through in this test of observation and endurance, and learn what it means to keep going when it's easier to stand still.Time, Line will support nine languages, and will be playable on Windows, Mac, and Linux/SteamOS, and will run on the same specs of hardware that Blitzstrike does. Full controller and Steam Deck support will also be available.Time, Line releases late 2026. Check out the socials for Blitzstrike to hear the latest news on this project!

One Year of Blitzstrike - A Message from the Dev

Hey everyone. Today marks the one year anniversary of the release of Blitzstrike. And honestly, it all felt like yesterday. I remember the first hour after launch I made a panic 1AM patch... to fix a bug where Trixel's lives went into the negatives. For real.I remember being 19 in my little college freshman dorm in Lower Manhattan when I first sketched Trixel and put her in a school project. Jump to today, three years later, and I just graduated university with a degree in Computer Science and accepted a real software engineering job in electricity infrastructure to aid in user experience and to help gamify their web app to create a fun and memorable experience to a normally stressful field of work.It has been a real dream of mine since I was a kid to make video games and to just make things that are memorable. And in university I was blessed with some amazing mentors and connections that not only aided in my journey in game development, but my entire Computer Science career. They've since become some of my closest friends and I truly would not have made it here without them.I created Blitzstrike out of an extremely devastating time of heartbreak. I didn't know if I was gonna be okay, and there were times during development where I saw Trixel as more human than I was. But I was given a piece of advice, that you can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending. You do well when you think well. No one is responsible for your healing except for you. So, I acted. Blitzstrike became it's own mission to me, and ever since l hit Steam's "Publish Game" button, nothing's been the same.Great reviews, fanart, worldwide reach, magazine coverage, world-class voice acting, updates, music releases, and so much more has brought Blitzstrike from "little school project" to an IP that's been enjoyed across the world. And it's all thanks to someone who's been the real MVP: you.Blitzstrike's main driving force isn't money, or fame, or clicks, ...

    Blitzstrike - Windows Patch

Hello everyone!I was made aware of a bug that prevented Windows users from opening the game. Without getting too technical, the executable for Blitzstrike was pointing to the incorrect file in the build. This patch should squash that issue. I'm a Mac developer, so issues like these can fly under the radar for a bit. I apologize for these types of oversights.Having other issues or just wanna say hi? Contact Blitzstrike at:blitzstrikegame@gmail.comor@blitzstrikegame on social media! Thanks for playing Blitzstrike!-Brennan

Blitzstrike - 1,000 Followers on Social Media!

One. Thousand. That is a lot of people. And each and every one saw Blitzstrike and internally thought (or said out loud, your pick) "this is interesting". And little did they know they'd contribute to something as grand as this. None of this would be possible without every single one of you. And from the bottom of my heart... thank you. Blitzstrike is much more than just a little indie game now, and I cannot be happier. It's not about the numbers, it's about leaving an impact on someone, whether they're Blitzstrike completionists or just love seeing Trixel and Vectoria on their feed. Regardless, it's why they exist. Thank you for playing Blitzstrike. Big things are in store, so stay tuned for what's to come!-Brennan
