Below is a preview of how the world is shaping up, offering a glimpse into the story and some of the new vehicle options.Take a look at these new screenshots. The game now features a "Cinematic Dark Mode" in the options menu, adding a gritty, widescreen letterbox effect to the game. The game is heavily inspired by the worlds of the Fallout and Metro series, with cinematic influences from movies like The Book of Eli, The Road, and Mad Max. Milestone Update: Classic Manual Release, New Screenshots & Gameplay Shorts

I have just published a comprehensive video showcasing the entire manual layout, the design philosophy behind its retro aesthetics, and a deeper breakdown of our direct funding logistics. Watch the full production breakdown directly below:The journey of developing an atmospheric survival horror game is built on milestone engineering and precise mechanical execution. Since our universe is deeply rooted in a gritty, retro 1979 atmosphere, I wanted to deliver a feature that bridges the gap between classic gaming heritage and modern gameplay structure. The official Digital Game Manual is completed and available for immediate download here. Back in the classic era of gaming, opening a box and reading the physical booklet was half the experience. It wasn't just text, it was the gateway into the game's universe. This manual has been formatted to serve as an exhaustive guide to prepare you for our upcoming gameplay demo. Inside, you will find complete breakdowns of the control layouts, advanced UI tools, inventory mechanics, and essential survival strategies required to navigate the nuclear wasteland.New Gameplay ScreenshotsTo celebrate this production milestone and give you a closer look at the gritty environment we are building in Unreal Engine 5, here are three brand-new gameplay screenshots from our latest build:These images showcase our latest progress regarding environmental asset rendering, volumetric density, and first-person weapon positioning. You can clearly observe how the industrial lighting and the dense fog system interact with the surrounding ruins, creating the tense, claustrophobic atmosphere we are aiming for.Bridging Nostalgia with Funding EfficiencyAlongside the release of this classic booklet, I have officially launched an independent pre-order channel directly on my website. While this campaign is not mandatory to complete our current production line, it functions as a massive incentive for our long-term funding efficiency. As many independent creators ...

From Handmade Collector's Editions to the Steam Wishlist Grind

As a solo developer, creating a game is only half the battle. The other half is ensuring it survives in a digital landscape that often threatens to make indie projects invisible.Today, I want to take a step back from raw programming and talk about something close to my heart: physical preservation and the tangible relationship between a creator and their players. In my latest YouTube video, I open up about my personal dedication to physical game collectibles. I review the handmade custom Collector's Edition that I created entirely by myself for my previous title, Parallel, and dive deep into my strategic and creative vision for physical media regarding Just Madness: Earth Apocalypse 1979.Watch the Full Video & Journey Breakdown:Escaping the Wishlist Limbo: Why I Am Playing the Long GameTo anyone outside the industry, looking at a combined pool of nearly 10,000 Steam wishlists sounds like a solid foundation. But if you strip away the emotion and look at raw analytics, the data tells a much harsher story. Historically, Steam launch-week conversion rates hover between 5% and 10%, at least for me. In plain numbers: converting my current pool of 3,000 Steam wishlists would translate to roughly 250 to 350 copies sold. After Steam’s 30% cut, regional pricing, and local taxes, that volume barely scratches the surface of full-time, high-fidelity development costsTo bypass this algorithm trap, my framework for Just Madness: Earth Apocalypse 1979 has shifted toward a clear objective: I must reach at least 100,000 wishlists before hitting the launch switch. To be clear, this isn't about arrogance or overconfidence; it's simply a matter of reality. For me, it is no longer worth releasing a game unless it is 100% polished and backed by a large, active community. Otherwise, the monumental effort simply doesn't justify the reach. Because of this, the work will continue relentlessly until every single one of these objectives is reached.Beside this text, I am sharing some brand-new s...
