Navigate LEO: Low Earth Orbit’s challenging skies using two joysticks to control your spacecraft. Dive into a mix of action-packed combat and strategic maneuvering as you fend off waves of enemies with innovative arsenals.
About this game
LEO is an action game about a little robot using its two thrusters to fly around and blast through an invasion from the Moon! You'll take on growing waves of enemies as you collect scrap and upgrade your abilities, culminating in a face-off against the enemy leader!
Fundamentally, LEO is a new take on traditional 2D combat - because your weapons are also your means of jetting around, players will find themselves in a dance between attacking and dodging. With practice, you'll find yourself able to weave between attacks and take on huge hordes of enemies, with movement that feels extremely intuitive once mastered.
Physics-based movement that puts a new twist on twin-stick action! Weave in and out of danger while dealing destruction of your own!
Defeat enemies for scrap, and choose from 1 of 4 random upgrades per level to customize your playstyle!
Drop in for a 30-minute run, or play for hours! Test your build-making skills against an ever-escalating endless mode!

LEO 1.0.1 released!
Hi folks! This is the first of the bugfix patches LEO will receive as reports come in. Thank you to everyone who's provided feedback so far! It's always remarkable how much more playtesting gets done the moment you release something to the public, compared to what you can do on your own.I'm glad to say that none of the reported bugs were game-breaking, which makes this a pretty smooth launch! That said, I'd like to keep pushing for as bug-free of an experience as possible. I've also tweaked the endless progression parameters to hopefully make it a more fair, but still challenging experience!Fixed issues:Enemies not being cleared post-bossBoss looking like a melee enemy when firing missilesSome sound effects not being affected by the correct optionsSliders were only clickable onceLEO could exit the arena at high enough speeds; this is hard to fix permanently due to Godot's physics, but LEO will at least be put back in the center of the arenaUpgrades in endless mode would affect the record created post-boss; unfortunately I can't fix results retroactively, but future results should be separate between victory and endless modeLastly, a big thank you to everyone who's played LEO - I'm so glad to have created a fun experience for you! I hope you'll continue to play and share it with your friends!Read full article on Community Announcements (birdtimegameworks)AnnouncementsOfficial
Liftoff!
And we're live on the Steam store! I hope you all have a great time playing LEO! I'll be keeping an eye out for any reported issues, but feel free to reach out to me at contact@birdti.me!It's always a daunting thing, putting something you've worked on out there. I'm not sure what comes next, but if nothing else, I really do think I've built something pretty fun, so I'm glad people will be able to try it! I think the next few days will be spent handling marketing and writing up some retrospectives about the development process, but I'm also planning a few ways to expand the game if there's interest.Have fun, and fly safe!Read full article on Community Announcements (birdtimegameworks)AnnouncementsOfficial

I'm very excited for you all to play it in 12 hours! On a personal note, this is my first time doing a Steam release - I'm hoping it'll go as smoothly as possible, but I'll be around and ready to fix any issues that crop up!
