Feel Like a Strategist
Assess the map situation, explore terrain, and choose the most advantageous positions for your squads and equipment.
Build fortifications with engineering trucks: antitank barriers, mines, reinforced bunkers, sandbags, and more. Deploy troops and soldiers strategically to make full use of the terrain.
Command squads from defensive lines, lead assaults on enemy positions, or defend strategic objectives.
Conduct aerial reconnaissance and call in air or artillery strikes to eliminate enemy clusters and turn the tide of battle at the most critical moment.
Fight on the Frontline
You can instantly switch between controlling entire squads and taking direct command of individual soldiers or vehicles — issue commands or play directly as a specific unit.
Take control yourself:
Land a decisive sniper shot — snipers have advantages over other units and are harder for enemies to detect if they stay low and avoid reckless shooting.
Break through enemy lines with a tank.
As a medic, heal and return a critically wounded soldier to battle.
Move your soldier near a commander to gain the “Inspiration” bonus, granting combat advantages.
This mode gives you precise control over every unit's actions: pick up weapons on the battlefield, use grenades and mines, fight indoors using objects and environmental cover, and operate long-range and heavy weapons — from machine guns to mortars.
Every action you take can have a decisive impact on the battle’s outcome.
Form your squads before and during combat by calling in reinforcements from various unit types:
Infantry with a variety of firearms.
Specialists like snipers, medics, and others.
Armored units including tanks, trucks, and other mechanized units.
Portable weaponry like mortars and machine guns.
Heavy artillery.
The third-person control mode immerses you in dynamic combat where every second demands quick reactions and tactical thinking.
Defend your people, win battles, and become part of a story where every mission is a new chapter of heroism and courage of ordinary men.

Speed, Mobility, and Support: The T-20 in Victory Banner
Hello everyone!I'm continuing to introduce the vehicles that will soon arrive on the battlefields of Victory Banner. Today, let's take a look at another piece of Soviet light armored equipment — the T-20 "Komsomolets" armored tractor.A brief historyDeveloped in the late 1930s, the T-20 was designed to transport infantry and tow field guns, such as the famous 45 mm anti-tank gun ("Sorokapyatka") close to the front line. Its compact size, excellent cross-country mobility, and reliability made it an indispensable workhorse for the Red Army under even the harshest conditions. The "Komsomolets" could carry up to six infantrymen on its armored hull, serving as a fast and compact transport. Despite its small size, it was protected by 7–10 mm of armor and armed with a hull-mounted DT tank machine gun in a ball mount, giving it a fighting chance when the situation demanded it.On the game battlefieldIn Victory Banner, the T-20 is an excellent choice for commanders who value mobility. Use it to quickly move infantry or medics to key positions, reinforce your defenses, or support an advancing assault. Its DT machine gun may not rival the firepower of heavier armored vehicles, but in the right place at the right time, even a light weapon can turn the tide of battle.Don't forget to Wishlist Victory Banner and join our Discord to stay up to date on the upcoming demo, playtests, and other development news.Best regards,DmitryRead full article on Community Announcements (m.frantseva)AnnouncementsOfficial
Small Tank, Big Mission: The T-38 Joins Victory Banner
Hello everyone!Development is moving forward at full speed, and with more and more content coming into the game, I'd like to start giving you a closer look at what you'll soon be able to command on the battlefield. Let's begin with the vehicles.Today, we're introducing the T-38 — a Soviet amphibious reconnaissance tank.A brief historyBy the beginning of the German invasion in 1941, the Red Army operated several hundred T-38 tanks. Designed as reconnaissance vehicles, they were used to support infantry, maintain communication between units, and, most importantly, cross rivers and other water obstacles without the need for bridges or pontoons. Its armament was modest — a single machine gun — and the turret had to be traversed manually by the crew. But while most armored vehicles were stopped by a river, the T-38 simply kept moving. On the game battlefieldIn Victory Banner, the T-38 opens up new tactical possibilities. Use it to scout enemy positions, outflank defensive lines, support advancing infantry, or seize key objectives before the enemy has time to react. Its greatest strength isn't heavy armor or firepower — it's the ability to appear where the enemy least expects it.Sometimes victory doesn't belong to the strongest force, but to the commander who thinks one step ahead.Don't forget to add Victory Banner to your Wishlist and join our Discord to stay informed about upcoming demos, playtests, and other development updates.Best regards,DmitryRead full article on Community Announcements (m.frantseva)
