About this game
Rally-style racing with a grappling hook. Yes.
A CAR WITH A GRAPPLING HOOK
Use your car's grappling hook on nearby buildings, pillars, towers (whatever you can find, really), to twist and turn around tight tracks, pulling amounts of G-force that make F1 look like a stroll in the park.
Accelerate, break, turn, and grapple left or right, charging up a boost the longer you hold the grapple.
HAND-CRAFTED TRACKS AND ENVIRONMENTS
Each track is made with tons of unique details and shortcuts. Well-thought-out layouts with interesting curve flow that explore the previously untapped potential of a car with a grappling hook!
BEAT THE CLOCK, THEN BEAT YOURSELF
Your main opponent in Grapple Car is yourself! (and the people above you in the online leaderboard).
Every track has 3 time goals: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Hitting them earns upgrade points to improve your car’s handling and speed.
After beating the preset times, you can take part in the online leaderboard for that track, where the best of the best race it out to find the most optimal routes and builds.
A SOLO DEV PROJECT
Grapple car is a passion project mostly developed by a single person (me)

INTRODUCING: GRAPPLE CAR!
Hello Grapple Car fans! I'm Vittorio, a 20 year-old from Brazil. Excited to talk about my first full solo project! What is this game? Grapple car is a game I've been working on and off in my free time for a while now, and now is about time to finally start to share it with the world. Fast-paced rally-style racing with a grappling hook! In the final game you'll race around many tracks to complete challenges, earn points to customize your car, and race for a spot at the timed global online leaderboards. Who is making it? Grapple car is a game I've been working on and off in my free time for a while now, and now is about time to finally start to share it with the world. I am developing it almost entirely by myself, with help from friends here and there when I get stuck. This is a project I am really passionate about and really want to make as good as possible, so please do share any thoughts you have about the game with me, I'd love to hear it! When is it coming out? Honest answer: not sure. Current project timeline includes a demo in June's Steam Next fest, but all I can say about the full release is that it will happen at some point during 2026 (hopefully sooner rather than later). I will post frequent devlogs and progress updates on the game's community feed so you guys are always updated on the game's current progress. I want to be as transparent as possible about the state of the game as I develop it. How much will it cost? The specific price is still to be determined, but grapple car will be a paid game with a play-time of no more than 3-4 hours. I'll be sure to update the community on the game's price as soon as the project's scope is more defined. These are just some high-level overview questions and answers, but if there is anything else you want to know about the game, ask away on the comments or just message me directly on LinkedIn, Email or something, I'm sure you can find my content info somewhere. Thanks for reading my post to the end! I'm truly looking f...Read full article on Community Announcements (vituba220)
