About this game
Tyto is a gliding-based metroidvania, where traversal, platforming and combat are all based around gliding and flight.
Glide through the treetops, uncover hidden secrets, fight to free the forest from the vulture tyranny and reunite with your family.
Play as Yali, a young owlet lost in a vast forest ruled by fearsome vultures. Rescued by mice, he becomes part of their rebellion, bringing a unique advantage - the power of flight.
Tyto features hand-painted artwork and an original soundtrack, composed by the developer himself.

Tyto's Demo is Almost Here! 🦉
Hi guys. I wanted to say a few words from the heart.I've been developing Tyto for the past 3 years, and it's my greatest pride.I'm so incredibly excited to share Tyto with the world for the first time.Some of you have been patiently waiting for the past 18 months since the Steam page went up, and it's time to finally enjoy Tyto, or at least a part of it.The demo release is scheduled for October 9th, 2026 @ 10:00 AM PDT | 17:00 / 05:00 PM UTCIt is going to be the first part of the game as it is planned for the final release. It is not a prototype of a proof of concept - it has all the core mechanics, features, music and story that the full game's beginning will have.It takes between one to two hours to complete, depending on your skill and completionism. 😉I'm so thankful to everyone who wishlisted Tyto.
