Install them on your car, trade them with other players, or sell them on the Steam Community Market. Combine lower-tier parts through crafting for a chance to create rarer and more valuable upgrades.

BUILD YOUR CAR. RULE THE STREETS.

Customize your car with performance parts, wheels, and spoilers, then take it back onto the highway. Master standard handling, switch to Drift Mode to build multipliers and earn CR, or bring your steering wheel for a more immersive drive. Whether you race online, with friends, or against improved AI, every part you earn brings your car one step closer to becoming a street legend.

BRING YOUR WHEEL

Take the highway with support for 29 steering wheel profiles from Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec, and Moza. Plug in and drive, calibrate your wheel, pedals, and handbrake, and experience H-pattern shifting with a clutch that can even stall the engine.

THE NIGHT HAS FALLEN. THE RIVALRY HAS BEEN REBORN.

v2.0.3 — TRAFFIC RIVALS IS NOW FREE TO PLAY

v2.0.3 — TRAFFIC RIVALS IS NOW FREE TO PLAYThe game is free from today. If you bought it before that, you are a Founder and you are getting paid for it. And the steering fix that should have been in v2.0.2 is finally here — it turned out the dead zone was never in your wheel.FOUNDER BADGE + 20 CRATESEveryone who owned Traffic Rivals before it went free gets a Founder Badge and 20 crates. The badge is a permanent Steam inventory item — not tradable, not marketable. It says when you showed up, and that is not something anyone should be able to buy later. The crates are the normal kind — parts, wheels, spoilers, rolled server-side, tradable and marketable like any other.Nothing to claim. Open the game and go to the main menu; the badge and crates land in your Steam inventory. If your crate counter looks unchanged, give it a moment and reopen the menu.We are granting these in batches rather than all at once, so if you owned the game and nothing has arrived yet, it is still coming. If a couple of days pass with nothing, send a report from the Support page — it names your account so we can find you.STEERING — THE DEAD ZONE WAS OURS, NOT YOURSIf you have a wheel and small inputs did nothing at all, this was why. And it was not the deadzone setting, no matter how far you turned it down.Fixed: roughly the first 45 degrees in each direction did nothing. The car controller reduces steering as you go faster — sensible for a keyboard, where every press is full lock and has to be tamed. Measured on our own cars: at 100 km/h only 20% of your input survived, at 150 km/h 16%. A wheel is the opposite problem — you already meter the angle with your hands — so 45 degrees of real rotation came out as about one degree of front wheel angle. The car genuinely did not turn. While a wheel is driving, steering now keeps 83% of your input at 150 km/h instead of 16%. Same 45 degrees now gives you about five and a half degrees of wheel angle: enough to change lanes, and full lock is still 270 degr...

v2.0.2 — STRAIGHT LINES AND HONEST NUMBERS

v2.0.2 — STRAIGHT LINES AND HONEST NUMBERS Another patch built almost entirely out of one player's reports. Steering that pulled, money that showed up a race late, and a single-player mode that paid nothing at all. Everything below came in through the Support page with hardware attached and details in order. That is exactly how this works — keep sending them. STEERING — THE CURVE WAS FIGHTING YOU If your wheel felt dead near centre and then snapped sideways all at once, this was why. Fixed: a dead zone from 0 to roughly 90–120°, then exponential. The "Sensitivity" setting was a power curve, and it was applied before the rotation scaling instead of after. Set to 3 — which reads like "sharper" — it meant the opposite: on a 900° wheel using 540°, full lock only arrived around 758 physical degrees, and everything under about 120° rounded away to nothing. Turning the deadzone to 0 could not help, because the deadzone was never the problem. The setting is now called "Curve (1 = linear)" on the steering axis, and it is limited to 0.5–2.0. The old name promised the opposite of what the maths did. Pedals keep their wider range. Saved values outside the new range reset themselves to 1.0 on load — including the 3 that caused the report. If you had cranked it up chasing a fix, you do not have to undo anything. Measured after the fix, on the linear default: 90 physical degrees now gives you 31% steering. No hole in the middle, and full lock lands exactly where your rotation setting says it should. WHEEL + CONTROLLER PLUGGED IN TOGETHER Fixed: the car drifted to one side when you lifted off the gas. With both devices connected and a controller in your hands, the game decided who was driving by asking "is the pad being pressed right now". Release the trigger on a straight and the answer became no — so the idle wheel took over mid-corner-less-straight and fed in its own centre offset. Whoever used their device most recently now keeps the car, and a wheel merely sitting there with a...

v2.0.1 — WHEELS, FOR REAL THIS TIME

v2.0.1 — WHEELS, FOR REAL THIS TIMEReborn shipped with wheel support. This patch makes it survive contact with actual wheels. Within days of v2.0 we started getting detailed reports through the in-game Support page — one G923 owner in particular sent us exactly what was wrong, in order, with their hardware attached. Almost everything below exists because of reports like that. Keep them coming: it works.STEERING WHEELS — REBUILT CALIBRATIONFixed: the gas pedal "stopped working" after a few seconds. Holding the pedal perfectly steady looked like inactivity to the input system, and after less than a second it handed control back to the keyboard — throttle zero, car dies, works again when you pump the pedal. Holding an input now counts as using it. This was the big one.Fixed: the wheel sat at full lock on some hardware. The game assumed every wheel's centre sits at the middle of its raw range. Plenty don't. Calibration now measures your wheel's actual centre and travel instead of assuming it.Detection no longer cuts off early. When the settings page asks you to turn the wheel or press a pedal fully, it now keeps recording for a few seconds and captures the real range — before, it stopped the instant it recognised the axis and never measured your travel at all.Engine stalling is gone. The clutch-stall simulation read miscalibrated clutch axes as "clutch dumped below idle" and killed the engine over and over — it looked exactly like broken pedals. Removed. The ignition stays: clutch + throttle (or your mapped start button) fires the engine back up.Fixed: a plugged-in H-pattern shifter locked KEYBOARD players in neutral. If you fell back to keyboard with a shifter connected, the gearbox was pinned to neutral every frame and the car would not move. The shifter now only owns the gearbox while you are actually driving with the wheel or holding a gate.Fixed: the Reset button in wheel settings could not be clicked.Fixed: toggling Invert on a calibrated pedal made it go dead.Def...
