Paddle through pain in this unique racing experience from Zoroarts. Navigate treacherous lava-strewn corridors, either alone or with a partner, armed with nothing but your single paddle. Will you fall and scream? Good luck!
About this game
A brutally frustrating co-op boat adventure you probably won’t survive. But hey—at least you’ll look ridiculous trying.
Grab your paddles (and your patience) and set out on a stupidly long, lava-surrounded parkour adventure. In Paddle Paddle Paddle, you and/or a deeply regretting friend must paddle your way through swinging axes, weird wind, evil slopes, and that one jump you’ll miss at least 27 times in a row ... maybe more.
At the end of the journey? A legendary, mysterious, possibly pointless prize awaits. Maybe. If you ever get there. Probably not.
This game will test your coordination, your sanity, and your friendships. You can either:
Play solo and control both paddles like some kind of multitasking god
Or play in local/online co-op, where each of you controls a paddle. Coordination is key. So is not yelling. Too much.
Physics-based paddling like in real life (sort of. not really.)
High Frustration™ factor (rage-quitting is a feature, not a bug)
Local & Online Co-op — destroy friendships from anywhere!
Speedrun Timer — for those who hate themselves
One giant handcrafted level with wacky biomes and checkpoint options (toggle them in Settings!)
Input Rebinding — because your keyboard will suffer
Settings with mercy — toggle checkpoints, fix controls, or just cry a little
Hi! I’m Mateo — I’m 22 and I made this game entirely solo. The idea came to me in the shower (where all great ideas are born), and I decided to smash together physics-based paddling with a rage-inducing platformer. The whole project was a wild experiment made in under a month.
I hope you have some fun with it... and just the right amount of screaming.

Indie dev defends criticism of Steam refund abuse amid review bombing of his game: 'It's wrong to refund a game after having fun with it and completing it'
Developer Mateo Covic, who went viral for complaining that thousands of people had refunded his game after finishing it in less than two hours, says he's not actually unhappy about the number of refunds or money he lost, or even Steam's policy in general—he was merely expressing frustration with players who "bragged about having a fun time with the game and refunding it after completion.".. One Year Ago, My Life Changed
Hey paddlers,One year ago today, the very first demo for Paddle Paddle Paddle went live.At the time, I was just a solo developer from Germany who thought it might be funny to make a game about controlling a boat with paddles and putting friendships under extreme pressure. What happened next completely changed my life.Over the past year, I've watched thousands of people discover Paddle. I've seen streamers scream at each other, friendships get tested in ways science still can't explain, and countless clips of boats flying exactly where they weren't supposed to.And somehow, all of you turned this silly little project into something far bigger than I ever imagined. Honestly, I still struggle to put it into words.Every wishlist, every review, every stream, every video, every bug report, every speedrun, every person who convinced a friend to suffer alongside them... thank you.You changed my life.Paddle Paddle Paddle has given me opportunities I never thought I'd have as a game developer, and I genuinely couldn't be more grateful for this community. So from the bottom of my heart: Thank you for being paddlers.A Small Personal UpdateOver the past year, I've spent a lot of time thinking about what comes next. While working on Paddle, I realized that my favorite thing to create is what some of you lovingly call "friendslop" games. Games where teamwork, communication, and complete panic somehow have to coexist.So... I've been working on something new.I recently announced my next game, CAAAHR!, a chaotic coop experience built around voice controls and, unsurprisingly, friendship destruction. If that sounds like your kind of thing, feel free to check it out and maybe throw it onto your wishlist. I'd love to have some paddlers along for the ride.Thank you again for making this past year so special. Here's to another year of chaos, friendship repair, friendship destruction, and paddling.Much love, MateoRead full article on Community Announcements (Assemble_Made)AnnouncementsOfficial
Up Up Up Is Here. Surprise.
PADDLERS!Surprise. The first content DLC for Paddle Paddle Paddle is live right now.Up Up Up no longer sends you forward (...ok, it's still forward but different). It sends you straight up. And yes, it is exactly as bad as that sounds. Higher. Harder. Meaner. More of everything that has already been testing your friendships. No checkpoints. No mercy. No shortcuts. One bad jump. One mistimed paddle. One tiny panic moment and you fall all the way back to the start. Everything gone. Do it again. This new vertical map is tropical, chaotic, and packed with new mechanics, moving hazards, and delightful little surprises that definitely do not help. Whether you play solo or in coop, the difficulty has been turned up noticeably. More rage. More chaos. More salt per minute. If you thought you had mastered Paddle, this is your wake-up call.Grab your paddles. Look up. Try not to fall.Happy paddling!Your Zoroarts 🦈Read full article on Community Announcements (Assemble_Made)AnnouncementsOfficial
Hold Your Paddles, 2026 Is Gonna Be Wild
PADDLERS!I don’t even know how to start this without screaming directly into the water. Your support has been absolutely unbelievable, and the only logical response is: We’re going crazy in 2026.None of this would be possible without you. Truly. Every review, every shout-out, every friendship you’ve emotionally damaged through co-op mode... it all means the world to me. 💙So… what’s next for Paddle Paddle Paddle? Here’s what I hope to bring your way next year (not set in stone yet, but absolutely on my chaotic wishlist): Console PortsYes. Paddle on your couch. Paddle on your TV. Rage in 4K. Mobile VersionBecause why should your thumbs be safe? New Race Mode MapsMore tracks, more screaming, more “WHO PUSHED ME OFF?!” Level EditorYou asked for it. You’ll regret it. I can’t wait. A Brand-New MapOkay, okay! For THIS one, I can already tease something. Yep. You guessed it. It’s an “Only Up!” inspired map. Hold your paddles tight, because this one is going to be absolute madness. Vertical suffering, here we come. And if you want to hear me talk about the future of Paddle in more detail (and ramble about how unreal all of this feels), here’s the link to the YouTube video.I hope you’re excited. I hope you’re happy. And I hope you have time to patch up your friendships before we plunge into even more chaos next year.Thank you for everything — truly. 2026 is going to be wild, and I can’t wait to paddle into it with all of you. 💙Happy paddling!Read full article on Community Announcements (Assemble_Made)AnnouncementsOfficial
Steam Awards Are Live… and Paddle Needs Your Chaotic Support!
Paddlers!Paddlers… gather ‘round the campfire of questionable decision-making. We’ve got Steam Awards business to discuss.First off:We recently crossed 700 reviews (!!!) and we’re now paddling at full speed toward 1,000. You’re amazing. Unhinged, persistent, friendship-endangering... but amazing. Keep it up!And hey, if you’re still working on your Steam Awards Badge tasks, it would mean everything to me if you left a review or updated your existing one. Every single one helps, and yes, I absolutely notice. I read them. I cherish them. I cry over them. All normal. Now… about nominations:For Paddle Paddle Paddle, I’d like to recommend the category: “Better With Friends”…... ...... ... …Yes, I know.It is technically a co-op game, but it’s also a friendship stress test, a rage amplifier, a trust-fall that drops you into lava, and occasionally, a friendship over moment. So is it “Better With Friends”? Well… it’s definitely funnier with friends. And probably louder. If you want to nominate Paddle, I’d be unbelievably grateful. But honestly, whatever category you think fits this disasterpiece is fine by me.Thank you for 700 reviews, thank you for the chaos, and thank you for paddling with me on this wildly unhinged journey toward 1,000 reviews and beyond. You’re the best. Keep splashing. 💙... and awarding!Read full article on Community Announcements (Assemble_Made)
