Explore the life of a medieval herbalist in Herbalist Roman, where you'll study ancient texts and create remedies for villagers. Your choices will shape how Christianity spreads in Drebor as you balance tradition with new beliefs.

About this game

Begin your work in a realistic herbalist simulator and, as a newly appointed envoy of the Herbalist Guild, take over the workshop left behind by your former master.

Your most important tool is the herbal book. Thanks to it, you will learn which macerations and remedies to prepare in order to help your clients.

Trade, grow herbs, and venture into the forest to gather ingredients needed for treatments. Every case requires knowledge and the right approach.

Drebor is a Slavic settlement on the border of Polish, Czech, and German lands, where life follows its own rhythm. Recently, however, more and more people speak of changes coming from the outside. Christianity is no longer a choice, but a necessity. Rejecting it draws the attention of the margrave and the Church, who are watching settlements like Drebor ever more closely.

People will come to you not only for healing, but also with requests that are not always simple. The way you help them will affect both their personal stories and how life in all of Drebor will change.

Demo Update After Steam Next Fest

Hello, thank you for all the wishlists, for checking out the demo, and for all the feedback you gave. Here is a list of things implemented to polish the demo:Fixed a bug where the game did not launch in the correct language based on the Steam UI language. The game now uses the same language as Steam, or defaults to English if that language is not supported.Added a "Waste Box" object. Clicking on it returns unused items that were already placed in the pot or grinder back to the inventory. To reduce the frustration caused by not having enough water, additional jugs with water, honey, and sanitized bandages have been added to help players at the beginning, when they are not yet familiar with the economy and resource management.Added Herbalist comments to better explain the healing process and possibly losing a critically ill patient.Added a Herbalist comment after picking up a figurine to make finding it more satisfying. The store can now be closed even when items are selected.A purse with money is now placed on the table, so the players can track how much money they have. The price bar now has background colors from green to red, so it is easier to understand when the player is charging too much.Twice as many herbs have been placed around the map, so they are easier to find now.And some really minor fixes:The game now launches with medium graphics settings instead of low.Footsteps are quieter now.Herbs in the grinder no longer block the raycast, so the grinder can be used more reliably.
