About this game
FREE PRACTICE PROJECT
This was an attribution-only practice project created by amateur game developers to learn the game development process. No profit was made, or will be made, from this game. It has many issues. Beginning in 2026, the game will transition from Unreal to Unity and undergo a substantial gameplay rework, while retaining the original assets contributed to the project.
About the Game
You can’t fight the Beast. You can only RUN.
Running Horror is a first-person horror game that traps players in a vast, nightmarish labyrinth with a relentless, otherworldly pursuer. You’ve been caught in the aftermath of a miscast spell, and the only hope for escape lies in finding the scattered survivors who were drawn into the maze with you. Each of these motley characters holds a piece of the puzzle, and only by working through fear, disorientation, and dread can you piece together what went wrong and undo it.
There are no weapons. No safe rooms. The only thing keeping you alive is your ability to move quickly and stay calm under pressure. The further you go, the closer the Beast gets, forcing you to balance exploration and urgency. Will you make it out before your sanity breaks... or the creature finds you?
