About this game
Vale's Echo is a 2D cozy horror adventure game blending dark comedy, psychological themes, and surreal art.
Vale died. Then the underworld called and said, “Welcome to your problems, part two.”
She wakes up on a train to nowhere. No pulse. No past. No clue. Her only company? Echo - a floating skull full of secrets, charm, and just the right amount of mischief. But the underworld isn’t empty. The landlord is a leech. Literally. The hermit thinks you’d taste great with salt. And somewhere in the dark, every fear Vale ever buried is waiting to say hello.
Branching dialogue and meaningful choices weave her relationships, memories, and ultimate ending.
Cook an unearthly dinner for a hungry hermit, unlock cursed luggage, and outwit the underworld’s strange logic.
They may have crooked teeth. They might bite. Try anyway.
Bargain with leeches, chat with fish-human hybrids, and meet creatures who test your morals - and your sense of humor.

Vale's Echo Demo Small Update & Bug Fixes
Hello folks!Thanks y’all for playing our demo, and especially for reporting all those nasty bugs!With your help, we caught a bunch of them, and hopefully they won’t bother you or any new players anymore.Here’s what changed and got fixed: Fixed cutscenes not showing up on Steam Deck.Fixed the ‘ESC’ key not working at the message board later in the game.Added new music bits to the Bloodlock level.Adjusted and added new sounds in some parts of the game.Fixed some grammar mistakes in dialogues.Updated the last puzzle to make it a bit clearer.Fixed dialogue bubbles not disappearing when the player used an item from the inventory.Fixed (hopefully) the Echo control bug in the vents.Fixed the wrong input icon for standing up (when using a PlayStation controller) at the very start of the game.Many small adjustments and fixes.There are still a few things we’re working on, but hopefully those will be sorted out soon too. And if you spot something strange (well… too strange), we’d really appreciate it if you reported it here on the Steam Community page or on our Discord. Good day, passengers.Today is a special day for our team and Vale's Echo. We have officially reached 10,000 wishlists on Steam! This is a huge milestone for us, and it wouldn't have been possible without all of you. You played the playtest and demo, gave us feedback, left reviews, streamed the game, made us laugh, and spread the word.
