About this game
Bite the Crown casts players as a sentient mold, an anomaly born in the depths of a packaging factory, seeking to overthrow the ruthless Snack King. To dismantle the tyrannical regime, you must build and lead a covert rebel organization, recruiting oppressed snacks and orchestrating daring missions to weaken the kingdom from within.
Gather and manage resources to expand your secret hideout, transforming it into a fully operational resistance base. Recruit discarded, expired, and rebellious snacks, assigning them to critical missions that sabotage the king’s supply chains, infiltrate factories, and rescue imprisoned allies before they’re sealed away forever. Strengthen your movement by upgrading specialized weapons, developing intelligence networks, and striking where the enemy least expects it.
Venture into the Snack Kingdom’s sprawling, ever-changing districts, where the king’s enforcers and mechanized food warriors patrol the land. Use your agility, combat prowess, and unpredictable nature to fight back against waves of loyalist forces, dismantling the regime one battle at a time. Take down the king’s high-ranking officers, absorb their secrets, and turn their power against them as you carve a path toward the throne.
Expand your influence across the kingdom by carrying out high-stakes missions, toppling supply routes, and turning factory workers into operatives of the cause. We are moving the release window for Bite the Crown to 2027.The project is not in a position where we can commit to the previous timeline. More development time is required before we can move forward with a release, and we do not want to announce or maintain a date that does not reflect the current state of production.This was not an easy decision, but it is the right one for the project. Bite the Crown has grown into something larger, deeper, and more ambitious than we first imagined, and we want to give it the time it deserves. We understand that delays are disappointing.
