Small Patch 0.3.1 - Minor bug and balance fixes
Balance Enemies in Trial 2 increased movement speed from 6.1 to 8. This trial was trivialized with the players 20% increased movement speed in patch 0.3. The new change makes this trial more challenging again. Bugfixes Repositioned the start timer for trial 5 specific runs. It was previously located at the entrance of the room while the player spawned inside the room, allowing the player to skip the timer completely. The timer now starts when the player enters the first platform. The end of run display text were incorrectly reading previous best times and deaths, making 'personal best' always being shown for these metrics. This has been fixed and 'personal best' should now only be shown for all time best scores of the current difficulty and trial selected. UI Certain UI elements lacked auto sizing of text, which could create issues with certain language translations. Auto sizing have now been applied to these.Read full article on Community Announcements (swabbiegames.nysveen)AnnouncementsOfficial
Your Cat Just Got an Upgrade
Your little hero Whiskers just got a major upgrade! Patch 0.3.0 introduces reworked animations, smoother controls, faster gameplay, and 29 languages to welcome players worldwide. 🎯 Balancing The middle coin at Trial 4 removed for Tourist, Easy, and Normal difficulties. It remains on Hard. Running speed increased by 20% to improve animation and gameplay feel. Jumping adjustments: ○ 0.25s delay added after landing before next jump. ○ Jump buffering introduced — pressing jump up to 0.25s before availability will execute jump when ready. Flickering bridges’ timing increased by 0.2s to align with new jump mechanics. Trial 9 jumps reworked for the updated movement speed and jump timing. 🔧 Quality of Life Added a Restart Hotkey (‘T’ by default) to quickly restart runs without navigating menus. 🐱 Animations Expanded movement animations: Walking, Jogging, Running, Jumping. Added smooth turning transitions. New idle animations: Stretching, Sitting, Cleaning 1 & 2, Resting 1 & 2, Sleeping. Idles now transition naturally — stretching/sitting → random cleaning/resting → eventually sleeping. 👻 Ghost System Updated to support new animations. Old ghosts remain partly supported but will not display legacy animations. 🚫 First Person Mode Removed Removed due to conflicts with the new animation system and very low usage. Third-person camera now offers Close/Far views (toggle with ‘C’). 🌍 Localization Language selection now appears during first-time setup. A new Language button added to the main menu to select your Language. 33 languages supported (translation quality varies): English, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Portuguese - Portugal, Portuguese - Brazil, Turkish, French, Vietnamese, Japanese, German, Dutch, Italian, Polish, Arabic, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Korean, Greek, Spanish - Spain, Spanish - Latin America, Traditional Chinese, Czech, Ukrainian, Finnish, Thai, Indonesian, Hindi, Malay, Tagalog, Romanian, Bulgarian, Hungarian.
