Summoner's Cookbook Playtest and Demo Update v092

🔨 v092 Changes 1) You now have an option to order a summoner minion to summon "Any" creature. This gives them some more independence and less micromanagement if preferred. With this option a summoner will summon a random creature with the ingredients available in storage. Butcher and Witch minions work similarly at their respective tasks. 2) The Auction house now also has the "Any" option putting a random creature from storage on auction.

Summoner's Cookbook Playtest and Demo Update v091

🔨 v091 ChangesEven less dragging and dropping required! 1) I've reworked how adding ingredients to the summoning circle works. You no longer have to drag and drop from the top. Instead simply click each spot on the circle and select an ingredient from the menu. You can still access any item from storage at the top to drag out if needed. 2) Similarly, adding creatures to command slots work in the same way. 3) You can now also add a minions to their respective work building simply by clicking the building. 4)Also reworked the alchemy/transmutation system. Any unlocked transmutation can now be selected with "quick transmute" button working similarly to the quick summon button. Just select what to transmute from a menu.5) Added some font options6) Some art and SFX polish

Summoner's Cookbook Playtest and Demo Update v080

🔨 v080 ChangesThis update comes with a big QoL change. Some feedback I've gotten is that manual summoning is a bit too cumbersome with a lot of dragging and dropping. 1) I've added a quick summon button which can be used for all creatures you have unlocked. Once you have summoned a creature once you can simply select it from the menu to automatically add its ingredients to the circle. This also removes the need of the recipe page objects which cleans up the UI a bit. 2) The chalk tool now only appears when it becomes relevant and has been relocated above the quick summon button. The trash portal has been removed as well as it is not really needed. 3) Another thing I've noticed is that players often skip the tutorial and end up confused and overwhelmed. After thinking about it, I've decided to just have the basics explained at the beginning of the game. 4) The demo has also finally been updated to more closely match the current version of the game.

    Summoner's Cookbook Playtest Update v070

🔨 v070 ChangesI'm rethinking the purpose of the Letter requests. I want to reduce the amount of text and required reading. While the letters add some flavor there are just too many of them and they are not really that interesting. I'd rather give the player more freedom on what to focus on and also not lock too much content behind them. Most letters have been removed and replaced by smaller quantity of apprentice letters which serve more to teach the basics and other useful information. Farming and foraging options are now part of the regular upgrade tree instead of locked behind letter requests. Added some keyboard shortcuts to open the most used books for easy switching.Leave feedback in the discord! Discord : discord.gg/FSM7bKjuz3
