Usability fixes & update
hello gamers! I always read feedback, comments, and reviews - so I've fixed a few things accordingly! Sound effects now 'clamp' and won't play too many at once, but there is some overlapping to show when many events happen at once. So, still fun - but doesn't feel busted! I also fixed some click / drag / highlighting issues that were bothering me - as I worked on extra content, I was touching old components, and that affected the base game. Speaking of - hey, weirdly, I have started to work on the actual Giant Bomb website! This game definitely played a role in that, I think. Just wanted to stop and say thanks to everyone who played it and helped give it a little spotlight. That really meant a lot. That said - working on the site means I'm doing a lot less game dev, so this has sort of slid to the back of the pile. On top of that, my day job has been WEIRD and it's a miracle I'm still employed; so I've also been job hunting (Right now, GB work is not a full-time role). If you need a React/Node guy you know where to find me ;) I hope to return to the third act of the game at some point - just to unmask it here, I have a working rogue like deck builder phase of the game. You take your deck of cards and a map of events is generated - battles, shops, all that stuff. You click and drag the pickle giraffe cards onto enemy cards to deal damage to them. It's so dumb, I love it - but I definitely keep bumping into "Is this actually fun?" And tuning and tweaking to that effect is what takes the most time. Anyway. Love ya, appreciate ya, and PLEEEAAASEE subscribe to Giant Bomb https://giantbomb.com/join - chuckRead full article on Community Announcements (chucktowski)Patch NotesOfficial

Upcoming Content & Known Bugs
Hello gamers! FUTURE CONTENT That's right, a content update for a shitpost game. I'm going to be making some content updates on the way to a "2.0" release. I absolutely blitzed through development on this thing, and I'm happy with the 1.0 product. However, I've always felt it was missing a third act, so I'd like to get started on that. Shout-out to my buddy Ben who does actual real adult game development; he took the game for a spin and had a lot of great notes for me, definitely taking a lot of those to heart. With that said, I also want to hear from YOU - so if you have ideas feel free to drop them in response. I can't promise I'll take you up on all of them but I would appreciate the inspiration! I know a few things I'm definitely adding: Animations, particularly for Cards Sound Effects for things like card buys and combinations a Third Act for the game! (if you're wondering what the "second act" is you probably quit clicking too early) left purposefully vague! And importantly, I am very likely going to be adding a cost for the game after the 2.0 update arrives. If you have the game already, it's yours, you'll get that update, no sweat. I've been encouraged by friends to really go for it, and that involves charging a little bit for it once it's finished. It will be cheap. So with that said, please send it to your friends if you want them to have it for free! KNOWN ISSUES The input on the computer is not clickable / keyboard type-able after NG+. Really annoying problem that is specific to the framework, still looking into this Wonky state issues cause miscounting for total cards collected, but this always favors the player Annoying text updates when purchasing things with fluctuating costs. e.g. buy card packs, the price increases and the buttons move. I will clamp the number to x characters to fix I've experienced the timer just pausing sometimes - I think specifically this happens on Steam Deck Let me know what else you've found! Patch 1.0.2
Hello gamers! Thank you so much for playing Click Click Bomb - y'all have been extremely warm and I appreciate the love. If you like it (or don't!) do please leave a review. It helps folks find the game. PATCH NOTES - Congressional Mode will now correctly boost your odds. During a previous refactor, I made it so the lines truly determine the success of the bet - which was cool! Except that it ignored the purchase of Insider Trading. My bad!Read full article on Community Announcements (chucktowski)
