In Triumvora, navigate the endless city as a mysterious creature, eating, gathering, befriending, and killing to rise to the top. Develop leadership skills and unite the city under your Crown.

About this game

Triumvora is a Roguelite with Survival, Simulation and Hack 'n Slash elements, set in an infinite city overtaken by bright flora and fauna.

Mysterious creatures have claimed the top of the food chain, but their social hierarchies are turning into chaos. Live through one's eyes and grow from a weakling to the city's ruler.

Food is limited and in high demand. Will you eat it, stash it for hard times, or share it? Will you protect your stockpiles or raid others’? Maximise your resources in a limited time.

These strange beings are able to see and absorb Aura, concentrated sources of the universe’s energy.

How will you assert your power? Through the wealth of your stockpiles, the number of loyal allies you've gathered, or pure aggression?

Overthrow the old Rulers and their corrupted Crowns. Become a better pack leader than them, and strive for Unchallenged Rulership.

Death won't be the end of your rule. There's higher powers at play here, which can make good use of your hard-earned Aura.

LABOUR OF LOVE

If you're a fan of unique Indie games, do wishlist this! Triumvora is made by a solo developer (hi!) and I've put in a lot of love and care in every aspect of it, from the gameplay to the art.

Winter Sale - Triumvora is 20% off

Happy winter sale! We’re suddenly at the end of 2025… This year was huge for me, with the release of my first game. To celebrate, Triumvora is 20% off throughout the holiday season! It’s been a while since the last update, so I wanted to touch base and give a preview of what’s coming.Version 1.1 – Early 2026I initially planned V1.1 for late 2025, but I want to include as many “quality of life” improvements as I can, based on feedback from the release, and I want to get these right. I’m also making sure the upcoming update undergoes thorough testing so most bugs get squashed. (But I’m keeping a few inoffensive jank/speedrun quirks for a little longer, they made me laugh!)Expect V1.1 in early 2026! After that, I have at least one major update planned for 2026. Some fun features that didn’t make the V1.0 cut will make Triumvora's setting truly live up to its name: the Infinite City.Upcoming eventsMuch of the work I’ve done behind the scenes has finally paid off: Triumvora got accepted at some upcoming showcases and events that I'm very excited about. Watch this space for more info!Working soloThe reality is that I’m just one person, and life often gets in the way of my game dev dreams. (I know, so annoying.) I value honesty and transparency from other developers, so I want to be open about this too:Triumvora was built in one year during a rare, lucky window of time when I could dedicate all my time and attention on it. After it came out, I've made game dev my part-time gig. I've traded development speed for stability, to ensure the game's long-term progress. And someday, with your support, I might be able to go back to working on it full-time :]Until next,Bianca

Triumvora - Releasing this Wednesday, 24th September

Ready to return to the Sectors?Triumvora releases on September 24th, which is just a few days away!Gather all your friends and spread the news! (like this Creature)New featuresThree New SectorsThe full game will let you rule over 4 Sectors in total (including Sector Zero from the demo), each with their unique look and music.Powerful Crown AbilitiesCrowns don't just sit pretty on your head! They grant a Crown Ability, which is one of the strongest abilities your Creature can get. Each ability is closely tied to how you got the Aura in the first place.Upgrading in Sector RunsUpgrades work differently now. Between Blocks, you can choose to spend all your Aura on a random Passive Effect, which remains active during the entire Sector run. Stack the same effect for god-like powers!New Creature PersonalitiesSome Creatures will turn against their friends, and some will be annoyed if you attack their friends. Some will be generous. and some will waste Fruit just for the sake of it. Many interesting situations can arise, watch friends and enemies be made under your eyes!Creatures seem to know there's a stirring for a new Ruler, so they have gotten smarter and stronger. But your average Creature is nothing compared to its Ruler...Meet the RulersSectors Rho, Gam and Bis are named after their respective Rulers. Each Sector is heavily influenced by its Ruler's personality:Ruler Rho is hot-headed and indiscriminate, like the destruction in their SectorRuler Gam is the trio's social butterfly, who is more busy socializing than maintaining their SectorRuler Bis is less interested in their own pack, and more into overflowing StockpilesThe old Rulers have misused their Crown powers for too long and it's up to you to overthrow them. However, they won't go down easily. They are the strongest Creatures you can find in the Infinite City, and will foil your plans to attain Rulership. Will you take them down for their precious Crowns?I'm curious, what are you most excited for? I will be waiti...

    Update: Demo Version 1.3

It's been a week since the Demo's initial release, and the Creatures have learned some new tricks! This update brings some new features, including:The Void: The Deity no longer throws you back to the Title Screen after death. Get a small glimpse of their immaterial home in the Demo, and some words of encouragement.Aura bonuses: extra Aura is now awarded after finishing a Block, depending on your performance.More Creature behaviours: Creatures have gotten a bit smarter, friendlier, and (possibly) angrier when hungry. Try barking at your friends with C key/A button!Removed friendly fire from allied NPC Creatures.Various other bug fixes & improvements. As always, please keep submitting bug reports and feedback, and if you played the Demo, consider leaving a review!Until next,Bianca

Nextfest June 2025 - Release the Creatures!

It's a big day for this quirky roguelike, and you're all invited!First off, I wanted to give my thanks to everyone who downloaded, wishlisted, shared or added Triumvora to their library, and to those that will! I hope Nextfest is as exciting for you as well! You can finally acquaint yourself with the Creatures (which I sometimes affectionately call "Creachures"). Most of them will be gathering food, just like you, though some might end up fighting over it. You can get caught in the crossfire, or maybe you're the one that caused it? All that matters is that you make it out of Sector Zero as a Ruler. This day also marks a big milestone for me as a developer. The game has come a long way from its prototype days, nearly a year ago. I thought I'd share some concept art!Sector Zero is symbolic for me, as it's intentionally a "blank-slate" slice of Triumvora's world. The three other Sectors in the full game will have their own atmosphere, their own problems that your Creature will have to overcome, and their own Ruler to keep you on your toes. What's your resource-management strategy? What Crown are you working towards? Have you reordered your attacks for different Passive Effects? I would love to hear how you're playing the Demo, I have yet to see two people play it the same way! (You will have my personal congratulations if you have finished the Demo with all three Crown types ːsteamhappyː)Please keep the feedback coming, it will only make the demo and full game better! If you've already played it, consider leaving a review!Best,Bianca
