About this game
A missing father. A haunted ship. And thirteen doors to the truth.
Emily’s father has vanished — and the only clues to his disappearance lie aboard a ship lost deep in the Bermuda Triangle.
To find him, and just maybe bring him back, you’ll have to unlock 13 mysterious doors hiding in the ship’s dark, narrow corridors — all with a monster stalking your every move.
IRE: A PROLOGUE is just the beginning. The opening of a sprawling story set in a new, original horror franchise.
Are you ready to uncover the truth?
NOSTALGIA HORROR
A love letter to 80’s and 90’s horror, Ire: A Prologue immerses you in a haunting story told from a young teenager’s perspective.
Full 3D audio places you in the haunted soundscape of the ship, while a composed orchestral score amplifies the sadness, grief, and tension along the way.
YOU HIDE, IT SEEKS
What if hide and seek was life and death?
A relentless monster is stalking you, and the only way to survive is to stay hidden.
As you sneak around the ship, use your skills and size to outsmart it. Slip into clever hiding spots, squeeze into vents, and make noise to distract it.
The smarter you get, the smarter it gets. So, listen closely, move carefully, and collect the clues before it finds you.
THE START OF A NEW HORROR FRANCHISE
This is just the beginning. Ire: A Prologue sets up the deep narrative behind the many mysteries that await in the Ire franchise.
Emily’s story kicks off a chain of events that will forever change the world as we know it.
Can you survive long enough to uncover the truth?

Ire: A Prologue – Patch Notes 1.1
Hello all you Bermuda Triangle Dreamers. We've got a patch to the game about to be released, and thanks to all of your comments and feedback, YOU'VE helped make our game better! THANK YOU. Monster AI Improvements (Scribbles Behaviors) You've pointed out Scribbles sometimes gets stuck on things or won't leave your hiding spot. Did you know we called him Scribbles internally during development? His full name was "Scribbles Destroyer of Worlds". But anyway, yeah, we found some bugs in his behaviors. He should be better about that stuff now. Audio Clarity & Sound Distance Tweaks You've also mentioned it can be hard to tell where he is just by his sounds because sometimes you can hear him from a different floor. We looked into that too, and dialed in some of our audio distances to make that more clear. Emily Hint VO Fixes We've seen a lot of streams of Emily in a hiding spot telling players they gotta keep moving or they'll die. Yeah. That annoyed us too. But we found that bug and squashed it! Door 9 Adjustments (Yes… We Know.) And finally, let's talk about the elephant in the room. Door 9. We know. We know. Not only that… The numbers have spoken very clearly. If you've already beaten Door 9, you can hold it over your friends that play after the patch, because they're gonna have an easier time. Not only have we moved the engine parts to make them more obvious, but we also added a hiding locker to the Engine Room. You'll be able to say: "I finished Door 9 when the straight pipe was in Storage 1. When Door 9 was a REAL challenge." And you can sleep like a baby at night because you rose to that challenge, my friends. Final Notes & Speedrun Challenge In the meantime, enjoy the 1.1 patch and see if you can finish the game faster than our boy Matt's 55 minute completion time!Read full article on Community Announcements (anne.hendricks)AnnouncementsOfficial
