  Air Hares: The Hare Force Edition Update

  Hello crew. The Hare Force Edition Update is live, and it's the biggest thing we've put into Air Hares since launch. Three new pilots, scoreboards to argue over, achievements on every level and somewhere to finally read up on who all these bunnies actually are. Three new Air Hares Linnie Lightfoote, Betty Bunting and Candie Clayton have joined the roster in Co-Op, and they do not fly the same. Each has their own Health, Side Speed and Loop Length, and each brings something different out to the farm. Linnie Lightfoote, Friendly Rival. A longer barrel roll, for getting out of trouble you probably flew into on purpose. Betty Bunting, Maternal Muscle. Far more wind resistant than the rest of you. Candie Clayton, Gaudy Gunner. Fires three parry shots instead of one. Rabbo and Doggo have picked up skills of their own too. Captain Rabbo can get back up once after going down, and Dirk Doggo can taunt every Falcon goon on the screen at once, which is exactly as useful and as alarming as it sounds. Scoreboards Story and Arcade both keep high scoreboards now, for single player and for Co-Op. If you've been quietly certain you're the best pilot in Winrose, here's your chance to settle it. Or to find out otherwise. Carrot Achievements Every level has Carrot Achievements now, and you can earn them in Story or in Arcade: 100% Completion. Every last carrot seeded and watered. No Damage. A clean run, start to finish. No Aggression. The ammunition stays for the crop. That last one is our favorite. Your seed is for farming, and spending it on the Gale Gang costs you. Defense parries don't count against you, so there's a pacifist run hiding in every level if you're patient enough to find it. Meet the Squadron There's a new Squadron section in game with stats, abilities and a bit of lore for each pilot.   Today, following 6 years in development, hundreds of hours of work from team members across the globe, and so much passion and heart poured into it, Air Hares officially launches on Steam!Today, you can download and play Air Hares on your PC or Steamdeck, in single player and couch co-op mode. Today, you can read the full-color digital comic book of Captain Rabbo's origin story. Today, you can listen to the full game soundtrack, including the BONUS theme song with original vocals.Inspired by '90s classic Saturday morning cartoons like Gummy Bears and David the Gnome, our theme song is about holding on and believing when the odds are against you. When we first started working on Air Hares, we said that we were making it for ourselves, for our future kids. If we were able to share it with other families, too, that would be a wonderful bonus.Now, we get to play Air Hares with our 4-year-old son, Kirby (immortalized in the comic book as Kirby Kit!)
