Building a Story-Driven Action RPG
Development of Clinch Legends is moving forward, and right now the team is focused on preparing the upcoming demo. At the same time, we're refining existing mechanics, making the world feel more alive, and polishing areas that were identified during testing.Clinch Legends is a story-driven Action RPG where several heroes set out on a journey to a legendary tournament. Players will experience a separate campaign for each protagonist, gradually uncovering the world's history and the true purpose behind the tournament.Today we'd like to share what we've been working on over the past few months.More Lifelike EnemiesOne of the biggest improvements has been the enemy AI.Enemies no longer stand idle waiting for the player to approach. They now patrol their territories, switch between different activities, and behave like actual inhabitants of the game world. As a result, exploration feels much more natural, and encounters happen in a far more organic way.World ImprovementsWe're continuing to expand and refine the game's world.One of the locations has received a major visual update. We've redesigned exploration routes and added many new environmental details to make traveling through the world more engaging and immersive.We've also developed new internal tools that significantly speed up the creation and population of future locations. These systems allow the team to produce new content faster while maintaining a high level of quality.Quest and Tutorial ImprovementsWork on the story content is also ongoing.We've fixed issues in one of the side quests where certain sequences of player actions could break the quest logic.
