Explore Rune Dice, where you command distinct hero classes to launch dice for powerful effects. Build synergies between relics and runes to overcome formidable bosses in bite-sized sessions.
About this game

Launch dice across enchanted battlefields where realistic physics meets ancient magic. Matching dice fuse into a more powerful one that seeks its equals, triggering devastating chain combos.
Plan each throw carefully - every dice placement can trigger massive combos that wipe out entire enemy waves or set up tactical future plays. Master both precise aiming and strategic prediction to unleash the full power of mystical dice fusion.

Pick from 8 unique classes, each with special dice and magical abilities. Every class offers multiple heroes with different starting combinations, ensuring each adventure feels completely different. With endless replayability for each unique hero classes. Level up, complete quests, and unlock rewards.
Spread deadly poison through enemy ranks as a Rogue, unleash lightning storms as a Mage, or absorb massive damage as a heavily armoured Warrior. Each class opens up entirely new tactical approaches and synergies.

Every location culminates in challenging battles against bosses, each with unique abilities that will test your strategy.
Some bosses summon additional minions, others manipulate the dice field, and the most dangerous can completely change combat rules. Adapt your dice collection and tactics to overcome each distinct threat.

Craft a powerful combination of dice, relics, and runes that work together to define your playstyle.
Collect magical dice through combat victories and shop purchases, discover game-changing relics that provide permanent enhancements, and gather tactical runes for battlefield manipulation. Visit ancient altars where you can risk your dice for upgrades, or play it safe and build your arsenal gradually. The synergy between your dice attacks, relic bonuses, and rune abilities creates devastating combinations and endless strategic possibilities.

BIG UPDATE
Introducing two highly requested new game modes to the Adventure screen…BOSS RUSH A brutal, one-way descent, with nothing but mini-boss and boss fights floor after floor. There are twenty floors in total, each harder than the last, ending with three bosses at once.Reward dice can drop from any class - not just the one you are playing. Mix a Mage die into a Paladin run and see what happens. That freedom is the whole point of the mode.Every win gives you two reward picks, and you can reroll as much as your gold allows.Every class keeps its own record - your Deepest Floor Cleared, shown right on the mode screen.SKIRMISH MODEOne shop, one boss, one chance. Spend your coins, then face a single boss that never stops summoning reinforcements. This is a mode built for experimenting and having fun.Set your coin budget with a slider, from Broke Genius at the bottom to Rich Baron at the top.Pick your boss, then build for it. The shop offers only dice and relics, rerolls are free, and selling refunds the full price - dig until you have exactly the build you want. The budget is the score. Beating a boss is step one. Beating it again for fewer coins is the mode. High up the slider it is a sandbox: buy everything, break the board. Down at the bottom it turns into a puzzle - one build, no slack, no room for a wasted coin.Lost? Replay Battle restarts the same fight against the same boss straight from the defeat screen, with the build you already bought.Patch NotesReward screens no longer show you the same thing twice. A relic or rune already offered on that screen will not come back - rerolls and the second pick included. Dice count as the same only when both the die type and its face value match, so the same die at a different value can still turn up. A new chest, boss or node starts fresh.Shop rerolls stopped repeating themselves too. Relics and runes already shown during this shop visit stay out of the reroll. Dice are unaffected here. If the pool genuinely runs out of unique item...Read full article on Community Announcements (hermionekw)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch Notes 1.2.4
Déjà Vu Time Mirror - 2 seconds after you throw, a copy of your throwing die launches from the same spot along the same path. Unlocks by collecting 20 dice in a single run. Chameleon Mask - 50% chance your throwing die becomes a Chameleon die. When it merges, it becomes the same type as whatever it merged with. Unlocks by dealing 1000 damage. Coming Face to Face A splash screen now shows the upcoming boss when a location map loads - at the start of a run, and for Classic Mode, at the start of each of its three location loads.Balance and Bug FixesVeilstone Amulet Reworked. Now grants 1 ward at the start of each turn for every enemy on the field with a magical attack (previously granted 2 wards once, on entering combat).Lowered the cost of several relics.Small Altar fix - it occasionally showed the wrong value.Read full article on Community Announcements (tomh2501)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch Notes v1.2.2
Blow Things Up!A full bomb build is now possible 💣Three new relics turn Bomb Dice from a nice surprise into a strategy:Blasting Powder - explosions from Bomb Dice have 50% greater range and force.Booster Charge - Bomb Dice deal double damage.Chain Detonator - when an explosion hits another Bomb Die, that one detonates too. Chain reactions across the whole board. All three also work on Big Bada Boom.New Relics & RuneSpring Coil II - merged dice jump even higher and are pulled toward their targets more strongly.Spring Coil III - maximum jump height and maximum pull. The first tier III relic in the game.Relief Rune - fully removes one random negative effect from your hero.Retribution Censer (Paladin) - when your hero gains fire, the same amount of fire is applied to a random enemy.New relics and the new rune are unlocked through play, like the rest.BalanceClassic Hardcore rerolls are cheaper. Shop rerolls cost less across all three acts, and reward rerolls now match the costs used in regular Classic. The Board Keeps Your DiceThe bottom edge of the board is now a solid wall. Dice that reach it bounce off instead of being lost, exactly like the other three edges. With explosions throwing dice around, far too many runs were quietly losing dice off the bottom of the screen.Merge physics: chain merges no longer freeze or veer off nearby dice you knocked on purpose. Only dice thrown outward by the merge itself get damped, so a deliberate bump keeps its trajectory.Fixed a dead zone in board input - dice could not be thrown by clicking in the right part of the board, with a smaller unresponsive area on the left. The full board now responds.Quality of LifeHard Mode completions now count as Normal Mode completions. No more clearing the same boss twice - the trophy tooltip also lists every class that beat that boss on Hard. Applies retroactively to your existing save, no new runs needed. The location screen is now split into Adventures and Game Modes, so it stays readable as more wa...Read full article on Community Announcements (hermionekw)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch Notes v1.2.0
Hey Rune Dicers,Consoles now have Classic Mode! And on PC, we have some changes and fixes for you all, which you can keep reading:⭐ New Content!New status effectsWard - blocks 1 direct magical damage per stack, then is consumed.Dispel - removes 1 random buff from the hero.8 new relicsBase: Runed Aegis, Veilstone Amulet, Warding Lantern, Gemini CharmBase upgrades (replace the base relic): Battle Aegis II, Battle Scavenger IIClass: Spellguard Plate (Warrior), Shade Pendant (Rogue)New minibossesSporecaller - Nearby ForestHollow Warden - Desolate SandsThe Illusionist - Void CircusNew enemyWailing Shade🎲 Dice Merge PhysicsFixed dice in a tight cluster getting "eaten" by the shot's own collision and losing the merge's magnetic hop - dice now consistently jump over others to reach their target instead of getting stuck.Fixed a neighboring next-value die (the one your freshly-merged die chains into) getting flung away by the shot's impulse before the merge hop could reach it - close chain merges now land accurately.Overall, merging feels snappier, stops exactly where it should (no more "slippery" sliding), and big chain reactions resolve reliably up to the max dice count.⚖️ Reworks & BalanceBone ClownChaos Purifier reworked: instead of wiping your whole board, at the start of his turn, he now replaces only a limited number of your dice (based on his Purify) with basic dice of the same value - so a wide deck keeps most of what it built. Now also appears as a boss in Classic Mode.Sun CultistNo longer heals himself with regeneration dice. He now throws Sun Fire Dice - merging one sets your hero on fire equal to the die's value.Blinding Light now hides ALL dice behind "?" (revealed on merge) and scatters Sun Fire Dice across the field.Faster enemy dice spawnEnemy dice now spawn faster at combat start and when the field refreshes.🐛 Bug FixesBattle Drum: now correctly deals damage equal to only the Rally gained (it was mistakenly adding the Rally already on your hero).Classic Mode: ...Read full article on Community Announcements (hermionekw)
