About this game
Ten years ago, you were chosen to perform a ritual.
Many Nights a Whisper is a meditative third-person archery game. Under the gentle guidance of your mentor, you will train to land an impossibly distant shot. Practice tirelessly, honing your skill for the sacred ceremony that will shape the future of your people. Succeed, and their wishes will come true, bringing a decade of prosperity. Should you fail, ten years of calamity will follow, and their hopes will be lost to the winds.
Ah, and you only have one shot.
No pressure.
Short and thought-provoking
Playtime: 50-75 minutes. Delve into the routine of the Dreamer, the person chosen to perform this critical ceremony. Engage with your mentor in warm and intimate discussions. Listen to the townsfolk at the Confession Wall, weigh their whispers, and decide whether to grant their wishes.
Test your marksmanship
Master the sacred slingshot, a mystical device strung with human hair. Carefully aim, adjust for distance, and land fireballs into ancient chalices scattered across a ruin-sewn archipelago.
Dreamy Soundscape
Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of the Mediterranean Sea, accompanied by a mesmerizing soundtrack composed by fingerspit.
Magical Environment
Enjoy a distinctive art direction through low-poly 3d and vibrant pixel-art textures—a relaxing yet melancholic archipelago filled with imagery inspired by Iberian culture.

Many Nights a Whisper Anniversary!
Our art director, Marina González, created this beautiful pixel art diorama in the style of Essays on Empathy to celebrate that Many Nights a Whisper is one year old! We're very proud of having released this game because it was our first time self-publishing, and the reception hasn't had as much reach as with the games we publish with Devolver Digital (of course), but we're so happy to see that the people who got to find and play our little experiment had a very... intense time with it, haha. Always so nice to see the kind of ideas and conversations we inspire with our work! Also, we wanted to share with you a short documentary film about Deconstructeam and Selkie Harbour, featured in MinnMax spotlight! Ben Hanson and Jacob Geller came to Valencia to spend some days with us and document a slice of what making games is like for us (and to eat a lot of food). As for what's next for the collaboration between our studios that brought you Many Nights a Whisper... I don't know if you've heard, but there's a DEMO out for our new game, Virtue and a Sledgehammer! It'd mean the world to us if you give it a go and tell us what you think! Thanks for your continued support!Read full article on Community Announcements (GreyShock)AnnouncementsOfficial
Virtue and a Sledgehammer: our new smashing narrative exploration game!
Hello everyone! We're so happy to finally unveil Virtue and a Sledgehammer, a narrative exploration game in which you go back to your hometown and tear it down with a hammer, because... well, you'll find out. This is our most ambitious project to date, and sort of marks the full maturation of the joint venture we've been exploring together at Deconstructeam and Selkie Harbour. We've been collaborating since 2022, created many small games, and in April 2025, released Many Nights a Whisper, which was our first commercial project together!Thank you so much to everyone who's played it so far. The feedback has been amazing!!Read full article on Community Announcements (GreyShock)AnnouncementsOfficial

Many Nights A Whisper review
Although you won't see everything, you can finish Many Nights A Whisper in under an hour. Each day you'll train with your fiery sling, lighting braziers and honing your aim for a looming ceremony where you'll try to hit a distant ritual chalice with a single shot. At night, you'll sit at a confession wall. People will tell you their wishes, and you'll decide which ones will be granted if the ceremony is a success. The whole game takes place on a single large balcony, overlooking the sea. Tradition forbids you from speaking back to the wishful folk that come at night, feeding their braids through a statue for you to cut in acceptance, or else ignore. The only other person you'll actually see is your mentor, a likeable septuagenarian who's presided over these rituals for decades. You train, eat, listen to wishes, and sleep. After a few days of this, it's time for the ceremony. As I say, takes about an hour. Read moreRead full article on Rock, Paper, ShotgunAnnouncementsOfficial
Many Nights a Whisper plays like a Dream on Steam Deck
It's been almost a month since we released Many Nights a Whisper! Thank you so much for all the support and all the positive reviews! We have 99% positive reviews! (Had 100% until a couple of days ago, which was mindblowing, never happened to us in over 10 years making games). We're creating this post to welcome new players and let them know that the game is good and it plays like a dream on Steam Deck! 60 fps, stable, and tight controls. The game is already really cheap, even for its 1-hour-long duration, but if you'd like it to be even cheaper, make sure to add it to your wishlist in anticipation of the Steam Summer Sale! Meanwhile, we're happy to announce that we signed our next project with Devolver Digital! And it's going to be another short narrative experience in collaboration with Selkie Harbour... For now we can tell you that: - It's going to be longer than Many Nights a Whisper. - It's going to be darker than Many Nights a Whisper.
