About this game
Survivesmith is a reverse-bullet hell / bullet heaven game where you craft and forge your way to your final goal- the life essence. With multiple crafting/forging/fusion/skill systems, you create your own survival strategies to survive the hordes (and the biomes).
Biomes
Within a level, you will find many biomes. All these biomes have their own unique theme, look and feel to them so you'll know when you find one. But it's not all looks. All these biomes pose you their own hazard at you, making their traversal difficult and dangerous. Craft and use the Hazard Protection (Haz-Pro) items from the Forge Pod and make exploration a breeze.
Biome Hazards
Every biome has some kind of hazard to throw at you. Make sure you are ready for these random environmental changes, unless... you find a way to turn the tides in your favor.
Resource Gathering
In each biome, there are many resources to find, all unique to each biome. Some are obtained from the ground, some by harvesting mineral nodes, scrap piles or trees, and some by defeating different biome creatures. Collect all you can, because no amount is too much!
Weapon Mods & Haz-Pro Items
Once in a while, a Forge Pod will drop nearby, letting you craft Weapon Mods and Haz-Pro items. But to craft what you need, explore the different biomes and gather enough resources.
There are 3 different weapon mod categories: Propulsion, Impact and Prototype. Experiment with what each mod does and find the best combo that suits you.
Haz-Pro items are crafted in a similar manner, but is essential for making biome traversal easier. Craft the matching Haz-Pro item for the biome you want to explore and be on your merry way for even more crafting!
Survival Kit
Defeating the evil robot minions will grant you with Scrap Metal. But they also have a chance to drop some Fine Metal. Use this resource to craft quick-use items from your Survival Kit to escape tight situations or give you an advantage in battle.
Power Cores
Fuse various core fragments dropped by enemies to create unique power cores with combined effects. One weapon, hundreds of combinations. Try them all!
Tactical Skills
Every survivor has multiple tactical skills, ultimate abilities and their primary weapons are all equipped with overcharge abilities. Use the ones that fit your playstyle and survive the oncoming robot hordes.
Level-Up Systems
Your character levels up in-run by collecting experience orbs. Choose from Strength, Vitality, Agility and several sub-categories in them to maximize your character's survivability. Perform well in-run to permanently level up your characters, weapons and armor modules to have a better chance at getting to that 'Life Essence'.
Helper Gadgets
Bring up to 2 gadgets to swap between in-run to aid you with tedious tasks like finding resources, collecting resources, or to heal yourself or simply have extra fire-support! Level them up alongside you and maximize their effectiveness.
Preset Loadouts
In Survivesmith, you don't have to submit to the randomness of the upgrades you get. While there are many random elements to experience in the game, your loadout isn't one of them. Make sure you know what you're doing, and equip well before a round!
Survive, adapt, and unleash absolute firepower in Survivesmith. Discover hidden weapon secrets, master your loadout, and forge your own path to the ultimate prize—the Life Essence. Do you have what it takes to outlast the human-made machine hordes and the unforgiving nature to save humanity?

Patch 0.6.0.2 - Achievement tracking fix
Major Changes Increased the research costs across research levels. It was a bit too easy to get through the levels. Bug Fixes Fixed being unable to exit the armory using the keyboard. Fixed items in the armory not properly updating when unlocking new items through the bio-lab. Fixed weapon workbench showing weapons that hadn't been unlocked yet. Fixed achievements not being tracked during expeditions. Other Changes The expedition teleporter interactable overlay now disappears with the teleporter, and vice versa. Added a cooldown between two resting phases of the forest titan. Previously, it kept running to rest whenever it lost a certain percentage of HP. Forest titan's ground slam attack now follows the player. Removed extra spinner addition with Power level. Slightly reduced lightning strike frequency. Reduced Roobie's (cleaner robot in the base) sound volume a bit. Updated the popup tutorial texts to be even across all scenes. Fixed the gap around the edges on some full screen UI elements. Known Issues There's a memory leak happening that's slowing down both the development and possibly gameplay. You might notice it when you're playing for an extended period of time. I am prioritizing fixing this first. Cheers! -MaRKRead full article on Community Announcements (MarkLee)Patch NotesOfficial

Biome POIs have dropped!
Custom TilesIn Survivesmith, the maps have always been randomly generated, 100% of the time. While their content were all hand-made and hand-animated, the map itself placed those content (trees, rocks and other objects) randomly all over the tiles. Now, we have created a bunch of "Custom" tiles that were handcrafted by ourselves! The custom tiles basically don't generate anything via random placement within that tile, i.e: all its content were placed at the exact positions deliberately by us.Survey SitesRemember defeating creatures or collecting resources randomly to fill up the "Biome Points" bar at the bottom, to progress the game? Well no more! Introducing, survey sites!Survey sites are custom tiles with a surprise in the middle. Rather than having to do random stuff in order to progress through a run, now the player only has to discover these survey sites and place their trusty Survey Beacon at the center of the tile. The beacon will scan the area for a while and drop some "Data Points" for you to gather, which will then let you progress further into the run.POIs (Points of Interests)POIs are special custom tiles with an interesting landmark at the center. Each biome in the game will have at least one POI, and these will spawn a bit far away from the teleporter.Once you discover these POIs, you'll have to figure out what to do on your own. These are not hard, mind-numbing puzzles, because who has time to THINK while surviving hordes of enemies! While the POIs are relatively easy to understand, the rewards you get for completing them can be much much more valuable! So be sure to lookout for them while exploring survey sites. The MapThe map is a new addition (it was there at the beginning actually, but removed later for having no obvious use) to the game that can help you locate the nearest survey sites and POIs. Yes! You will be able to locate POIs from the map too, but only if you're close enough to them. Consider yourself extremely lucky if you see the golden mark...Read full article on Community Announcements (markleeml9292)
