As a team of mischievous goblins, rebuild stage sets from photos while hauling giant props through tight spaces. Get every placement right before the curtain rises in Staged, an action-packed indie experience from Project Sunset.
About this game
Staged is an online co-op chaos game where you and up to three other players rebuild theater stages using physics-based props and teamwork that constantly falls apart.
PUT ON THE SHOW
Recreate complex stage sets based on visual references. Aim spotlights, sort cassettes, adjust lighting rigs, swing a crane, and conjure props from the magical papier-mâché machine. Every object must be placed correctly before the curtain rises.
18 LEVELS, EVER-BIGGER THEATERS
Pick your next show from the level select map. 18 levels across two to three acts, with theaters that grow larger and more demanding as you progress.
THE STAGE FIGHTS BACK
Power failures, burst pipes, and trashed stages can derail your setup without warning. Grab a flashlight and fix it fast.
WORK TOGETHER OR MAKE IT WORSE
Some props are impossible to handle alone. Lift, mount, and hang set pieces together under time pressure.
SHOWTIME
Every performance is judged on how closely it matches the reference. Nail it and progress to bigger, more complex productions.

Korean Translation Overhaul
We've been amazed by how many players from Korea have picked up Staged. You're one of our biggest communities, and we're incredibly grateful for that.Based on your feedback, we've completely reworked the Korean translation together with a professional translator. The goal was to make everything feel more natural and accurate, so the game reads as well in Korean as it does in any other language.Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your thoughts. This update is for you. 🎭Read full article on Community Announcements (Project Sunset)Patch NotesOfficial
One Mop to Clean Them All
Hey everyone,This one's a smaller update, but the changes came straight from your feedback, so we wanted to get them out to you quickly. Here's what's new.Burst Pipe: Just Grab a MopWe simplified the burst pipe event. Instead of fixing the actual pipe, all you need now is a mop to clean up the puddle. One less step, a lot less frustration, and the chaos stays just as fun.Color Is Back on the Rating ScreenAs many of you know, the entire Dracula level plays out in black and white, it's one of the stylistic touches that makes this stage stand out from the rest. The problem was that this effect didn't turn off when it should have: it was also carrying over into the rating screen at the end of the level, which was never intended. That's fixed now, so once the level itself is done, you'll see your results in full color again, right where it belongs.LED Mixing Desk Color FixWe also improved how the LED mixing desk evaluates your color choices. The rating should now line up much better with what you actually set on the desk.Thank YouSmall update, but every one of these came from something you pointed out. Keep the feedback coming, it genuinely shapes what we fix next. 🎭Read full article on Community Announcements (Project Sunset)AnnouncementsOfficial
Proximity Voice Chat Is Back!
Proximity Voice Chat Is Back!Hey everyone,We've got a big one for you today. This update brings back one of the most requested features from launch, adds voice-over for two new languages, and gives you a lot more freedom in how you play. Let's get into it.Proximity Voice Chat ReturnsThe moment a lot of you have been waiting for: proximity voice chat is back in Staged.Over the past weeks we've worked hard on optimizing our network code, and that work paid off in more ways than one. Not only should the overall online experience feel smoother and more stable now, it also gave us the technical headroom we needed to bring proximity voice chat back into the game. Being able to hear your team scream from across the stage as a prop goes flying is exactly the chaos Staged was built for, and we're excited to have it back where it belongs.Japanese and Korean Voice-OverWe've listened to your feedback, and we're happy to announce that Staged now includes voice-over in Japanese and Korean, on top of the existing languages. So many of you from Japan and Korea have picked up Staged and been part of this community from early on, and we wanted the game to feel just as accessible and immersive for you as it does for everyone else. This is a big step toward that, and we're grateful for the patience while we got it done.Free Level Select ModeAnother frequently requested feature: you can now choose to play any level right from the start, without unlocking it first. When starting a new game, you'll now find this as an option alongside the difficulty selection. Prefer to unlock levels the traditional way? That's still there too, this is simply an additional option for anyone who wants to jump straight into a specific stage or story.More Burst PipesThe burst pipe random event, one of the more chaotic moments in Staged, can now also appear in more levels. If you enjoyed the panic of a flooding stage before, you'll be running into it more often now.Thank YouAs always, this update exists because...Read full article on Community Announcements (Project Sunset)Patch NotesOfficial
The Day "One" Patch Is Here
Staged has been out for two days now, and honestly, we're still processing it. The feedback so far has been exclusively positive, and seeing so many of you dive into the chaos with us has meant everything to our small team. Thank you.Based on what you've told us, we've already put together our first small update.A Clearer Chinese FontSeveral players from our Chinese community reached out to let us know the previous font wasn't very readable. We've replaced it with a clearer one that should make the game much easier to read. A huge thank you to everyone who flagged this for us, please keep the feedback coming.Level 2 ReworkWe reworked the stage set in Act 2 of Level 2. The pacing now picks up faster, and it's much clearer which props actually need to end up on stage, so you can get into the action sooner without losing the puzzle-solving fun.LED Mixing Desk MarkingsWe added markings to the LED mixing desk, making it much easier to tell at a glance which slider controls which light. No more guessing which knob does what mid-chaos.Bug FixesOn top of the above, we squashed a number of smaller bugs across the game to make things run smoother overall.Coming Soon: Japanese Voice OverWe've also started working on a Japanese voice over. We've been amazed by how many players from Japan have picked up Staged, and we want to make sure you all get the best possible experience. More details soon.Thank YouAs always, thank you for playing and for all your feedback, it directly shapes what we work on next. If you run into any issues or have suggestions, let us know.A special shoutout also goes to all the streamers who brought Staged to their communities over the past two days, especially vicky.layers and C00KIESays. Watching you play through the chaos live has been an absolute joy, thank you for the support! 🎭Read full article on Community Announcements (Project Sunset)AnnouncementsOfficial
