1 copy sold = 1 real tree planted. I will personally be planting the trees on local farms and schools, and looking after them for years to come. Combining meditation and education, Treeplanter aims to teach players about the interconnected wonders of the natural world, above and below ground.
The Treeplanter prototype was co-created with a small team of rural young people, aged 18-20, they created the majority of the art, visual effects and also did cool things like the fungi and root growing systems! They were paid and mentored thanks to funding from the Eastern Education Group, and were directed by me (Henry). Then we finished Treeplanter off with help from talented friends. Big thanks to everyone, especially Rianna Suen (lead code) and Halime Karaca (lead art).
Please keep in mind that this is a small game with no goals or challenges, created by Henry with help from his friends, as well as students - it's all about creating small but beautiful dioramas, using the tools and items from the game alongside the influences of nature :)

🌲 Treeplanter is out now - start planting real trees today!
Hey Steam, If you’re new here, I’m Henry, and along with my friends Rhiana and Halime, we’ve been making Treeplanter for the last 3 years… almost three years to the day!!! And honestly, I can’t believe it, but today is the day… TREEPLANTER IS FINALLY OUT. So scary, yet so exciting!!! Treeplanter is a small game with no goals or challenges; it's all about creating small but beautiful dioramas, using the game's tools and items alongside nature's influence. The most exciting thing for us is that for EVERY COPY of the game sold, we PLANT ONE REAL TREE. The game is £3.99 / $3.99 / €3,99 with a 20% launch discount, so for less than the price of a coffee, you’ll be helping support me plant real trees 🌲 Lots of people have asked how this will work, so I wanted to explain the process a bit and assure you we’ll update you every month. We (me, my dog, family, friends and community members will be planting a tree on our farm, on neighbouring farms and schools for every copy sold. I look after every tree, caring for them until they are taller than me! So far, we’ve planted 1000 trees. Our goal is to plant 10,000 trees! I also spoke a little about the process here on TikTok. Every month, I’m going to be posting pictures and videos here on Steam so you can see the progress, and I'll keep you updated via socials. As well as TikTok, you can find me on Instagram and Bsky. If we get to 10,000 trees (with your help, we can), we’ll plant millions of wildflowers to celebrate and move on to planning our next planting goal!
