Take on the role of air traffic controller in VoiceATC Simulator, guiding aircraft into runways using only your voice. Experience a realistic simulation in early access from Lainoa Software.
About this game
Become an Air Traffic Controller! Manage arrival and departure traffic using your voice or by clicking on aircraft labels. Give realistic instructions, vector aircraft, assign altitudes and speeds, clear approaches, use transitions, and land aircraft safely at their destination!
Navigation Data and Airports
VoiceATC Simulator supports Navigraph AIRAC data. Players with an active Navigraph subscription can use updated real-world procedures, runways, fixes, NAVAIDs and airport configurations at airports around the world.
Players without a Navigraph subscription can still play using the legacy AIRAC data included with the simulator. This means the game remains fully playable without any external subscription, although the navigation data will not be updated to the current AIRAC cycle.
Updated AIRAC support through Navigraph
Real-world airports using real navigation data
Legacy AIRAC included for players without an external subscription
Real procedures, runways, fixes and NAVAIDs
Video Tutorials
A written manual and video tutorials are included with the game, covering essential topics such as user interface navigation, aviation fundamentals, and gameplay mechanics. These tutorials provide clear explanations and practical demonstrations to help you get started with the simulator.
Realism
VoiceATC Simulator is a simulator, so the learning curve can be steep. It is designed primarily to be played with your voice, using aviation phraseology and realistic procedures.
You can set the traffic count per hour and manage your sector by giving vectors, altitudes, speeds, transitions, directs to NAVAIDs, approach clearances and other typical air traffic control instructions.
Minimum sector altitudes are implemented. If an aircraft violates the minimum altitude for a sector, a low altitude alert will appear.
Traffic is generated using real routes, real airlines and realistic callsigns, aiming to provide a credible experience for aviation enthusiasts and players who want to learn the basics of air traffic control.
Modding
The game is modding using Github. The community can create and share custom sectors and additional content. Game files are designed to be understandable, so creating your own scenarios is an important part of the simulator's potential. The modding community is very helpful in the Discord server!
Early Access
VoiceATC Simulator is my first game and I push for high-quality standards. However, given the scope of the project and its Early Access status, occasional bugs and errors may still occur.
The simulator will continue receiving updates, realism improvements, new features and adjustments based on community feedback.

Update 0.6.2 is Live! - Visual Approaches and a New Interface
Hello all! Version 0.6.2 is now live on the Stable branch.First, your scope. The session now comes in three skins: Generic, Spain (SACTA) and United States (STARS). It is the same session in each one, and every feature is in every skin. In Settings > Skin you can pick one skin for all airports or one per airport, or leave it on Realistic, which uses the real interface where there is one. Skins can be modded, so you can make your own.The rest of the interface was redesigned too: the Main Menu, New Session, Load Session, Settings, the Escape menu, the top bar and the panels. The radio strip shows RX, TX, BLOCKED and PARSING. Hover any cell of an aircraft label to see what it means and what to say. Text is drawn at your screen's real pixels, so it stays sharp at any size, and a bigger window shows more radar instead of stretching the picture.New players get four tutorials: the essentials of the ATC job, the interface (UI), the radio, and a short shift at Ibiza on its real sector, with the terms explained. A coach shows what to SAY and what to DO. You find them under Tutorials in the Main Menu. Your first three sessions start with relaxed traffic that you can change. Then the approaches. You can ask a pilot to report the runway or a landmark in sight, and then clear a visual approach. Any suitable arrival runway can be flown as a generic visual. At selected airports there are also charted visuals that follow their published route, like the River Visual runway 19 and the Mount Vernon Visual runway 01 at Washington National (KDCA). On the River Visual, ask the pilot to report "the Potomac River" in sight. Visuals show as V plus the runway on the label (V19, V01), and major rivers are drawn on the map.The charted visuals come from the community data, so they download the first time you play online. Without it you still get the generic visual. The pilot never takes over separation, that stays with you.Not every approach works out, so there are go-arounds. Say "go around" and...Read full article on Community Announcements (lainoasoftware)Patch NotesOfficial

An early version of update 0.6.1 is now live on the Open Beta branch
Hello all, new version available (0.6.1.0) in the Open Beta branch. Some key stuff:Performance and accuracy improvements to the voice model thanks to the telemetry data, now everyone uses the same system that's thought for all hardware.TTS fixes.LNAV enhancements to prepare the sim for the new types of approaches in the future. The features for this version seen in the roadmap (voiceatcsimulator.com/roadmap) will be added in the near future, they are not yet available. In general, the voice interaction experience should be better and faster for all types of computers. Still, keep in mind that this is a beta and will be unstable. Hopefully you notice the upgrade from 0.6.0.I've also fixed several of the bug reports. The next week I will go one by one on each thread and confirm the fixes for the ones I've worked on (if you feel like telling me in advance it'd help me a lot). I know there's a ton of reports and my next focus is having those to 0 as fast as possible. Remember to hop by on the Discord (click here!) to engage with the community! Anyway, remember that you can always revert to the stable branch. Enjoy!Read full article on Community Announcements (lainoasoftware)Patch NotesOfficial
