About this game
A Narrative Roguelite Detective RPG where every choice matters. Explore Oakwood Manor, interrogate suspects, and uncover the truth behind a demonic presence hidden among the living. Over 25 narrative paths can lead you to more than 10 unique endings.
BECOME A WITCH HUNTER
Somewhere in the world, in the present day.
The disappearance of Albert Ashcroft and the detection of a mysterious occult contact lead the Order of the Witch Hunters to send two of its agents to Oakwood Manor: Silas Iscariot and Aïda Freda.
Explore the estate's 16 locations, uncover the secrets of the Ashcroft family, and investigate this strange presence whose origin remains unknown.
The character you choose influences your approach to the investigation, the available dialogue options, the skills you use, and certain information and opportunities that will only be accessible to the Witch Hunter you embody.
SEVERAL POSSIBLE FUTURE
Explore different possibilities, uncover hidden secrets, and observe how the same investigation can take vastly different turns.
Some information is only accessible by following a specific path. Others are revealed only after questioning your assumptions or exploring a new approach.
More than 25 different narrative paths can lead you to over 10 unique endings. Some truths are difficult to reach. Others are revealed only to those who dare to take a different path.
The more possibilities you explore, the deeper your understanding of the mysteries of Oakwood Manor becomes.
EVERY CHOICE HAS CONSEQUENCES
At Oakwood Manor, there are no easy answers.
The decisions you make can shatter the fragile balance of the Ashcroft family.
Who will survive the events that befall the manor? Who will be held accountable for their actions? Which truths deserve to be revealed, and which should remain buried?
As you progress, you will face moral dilemmas, take sides in the conflicts that divide the Ashcroft family, and decide how far you are willing to go to fulfill your mission.
The fate of Oakwood Manor rests on your choices.
CONDUCT THE INVESTIGATION
Explore Oakwood Manor, uncover clues, examine documents, and gather the elements necessary to progress.
Use the evidence you discover to confront the manor's inhabitants with their contradictions. Each discovery may reveal a new lead, exonerate a suspect, or alter your understanding of events.
Time continues to pass with or without you. Some conversations and events only occur at specific times, while certain critical situations will require you to make a decision in mere seconds.
PLAY LIKE IN A TABLETOP ROLEPLAYING GAME
Witch Hunters draws inspiration from tabletop role-playing game mechanics. Each character possesses unique attributes and skills, influencing the solutions available to you during the investigation.
Some actions rely on skill checks and dice rolls. Success or failure can reveal new information, alter a situation, or lead to unexpected consequences.
For the most critical moments, you have a limited number of rerolls. Develop your character as you progress and unlock new investigative possibilities.
ABOUT THE STUDIO
Witch Hunters is developed by Awesome Game Concepts, a small independent studio based in Montpellier, in the south of France.
