About this game
Where are you?
You arrive at your home complex 629 but you lack all your memories but why? The other residents you meet along your journey deeper into the complex speak of the devil constructing the halls you wander. Be aware however for a violent spectre stalks the halls and he is The Grandfather
Make your way through the structure
Dig your way through the halls by moving the snow manually or with the aid of consumables. To Find what lies at the end of the Complex you must collect money to purchase materials so you may complete the construction of your magnum opus. The key to regaining the memories that have been stolen away from you.
Hoarding wealth and knowledge is okay in the end times
Collect aspects of the devil to learn more about the complex and the world which lies outside
In capitalism only the privileged prevail but since you can find money all over the complex you might have a chance to become rich! That would be if you didn't have to give it to the top 1% to progress
Setting
The world cools year by year and snow encroaches upon civilisations from mountain tops. Frost is the great equalizer now and few thrive. Some countries were better prepared for the cold which came ravenous. Most of all Iceland and that is where you are. That is where the Complex is. Surviving the frost outside is hopeless but once you sign the contract and take residents within the complex hopes of leaving it are none. The Complex giveth so its residents may taketh but the Devil is not so kind.
Complex 629 is full of things to experience and do
Explore a myriad of non-euclidean apartments and places embedded within one building
Speak with multiple unique NPCs and learn their stories and experiences
Collect oodles of money and then spend it at an overpriced supermarket or gamble it away
Collect lore from heart shaped fragments of the Devil
Avoid the vile monsters which lie within
Have a girlfriend

Over the last handful of months I've been hard at work creating a brand new game this time in 3D! Mount YmirYou must save MidgardAs I am Icelandic I have a deep interest in Norse mythology and so I decided to create a short horror game about stopping the end of the world aka ragnarök. you are tasked with doing this by the world serpent which is depicted above by reviving the dead aser god Baldur.According to völu spá from the prose eddaThe twilight of the gods will begin when Loki tricks an aser into murdering the golden child of Odin Baldur. You will take control of a Human witch in Midgard who maybe not so surprisingly wishes to continue on living. on your journey you will encounter other figures within the stories of Norse mythology and some of them may not be so kind. Message from LillexNow that I'm releasing my second game I have had an opportunity to reflect on what development means for me and what I strive to achieve in the future. The first thing I find prudent to mention as many of my peers slap their bellies out of joy as they suck down straight lead from their disposable landfill stuffing vapes when the mere mention of gen AI comes up. As you can probably tell I do not like AI bros, I don't. I really don't. When I made Complex 629 I did not use gen AI in any capacity for any of the development and the same goes for Mount Ymir. I intend to continue not using gen AI for anything and I want to assure anyone who might be interested in me or my studio that I will stay AI free for life! I will always be on a learning journey in live and especially in development and even tough I love Complex 629 there are many things I've learned since Its release. the first and probably most obvious is development in 3D. My tools of choice have become Blender for modelling, substance painter for texturing and Godot for development. My first negative review just dropped!
Hi everyone as the title says I just received my first negative review which is a milestone for me since this isn't only the first one for this game but ever since this is my first time developing. I read it over thoroughly and I want to address the issues the player had so that I might be able to make Complex 629 the best version of it self possible Gameplay issues: Snow clearing is tedious - To alleviate this issue I have now drastically decreased the density and amount of snow throughout the halls. Grandpa’s high speed & instant catches - Grandfathers top speed has been decreased so the player can escape into apartments. Repetitive item-fetching and gameplay - I have not altered the gameplay when it comes to item fetching but manoeuvring through the halls should be more stream lined now since snow has been decreased. Textures snagging the player - Hitboxes have been made more forgiving to make movement account for a larger margin of error. Hard-to-read text - text backgrounds has been changed to make everything more readable Narrative issues: When it comes to the story and character interactions nothing will change. I understand that the vulgarity and heavy topics might not be for everyone and that is okay. The nature of the storytelling being confusing at times and character dialogue being "pointless" is by design. I will not be changing how the story is told and for those who enjoy it as it I will be adding more content when it comes to character encounters in the future so stay tuned for that! The final issue is that some dislike how I tag the title as a psychological horror game and not a walking sim. The game will continue to be tagged foremost as a psychological horror as I consider it as such but I have moved the walking sim tag to the second slot on the steam page to avoid confusion upon purchase.
