Command fleets of ships in Black Horizon: Armada, a deck-building card game where you craft the strongest military force to conquer space.

About this game

Black Horizon: Armada is a digital deck-building strategy game set in an original sci-fi universe. There is no pre-game deck building—strategy emerges entirely during battle. Every decision matters, forcing you to adapt, improvise, and outthink your opponent in real time.

Each match takes place across three randomly selected planets, each acting as a strategic lane. Planets have unique effects and offer exclusive cards that can only be acquired while fighting there, forcing players to rethink positioning, timing, and resource management every game.

Cards are discovered through play. As you encounter new ships, stations, and actions, they are permanently unlocked in your Gallery, growing your collection and revealing new synergies and strategies over time.

Your deck is constructed dynamically during each match, shaped by the planets in play and the cards you choose to pursue. Every decision matters, and no two decks—or matches—are ever the same.

Random planet selection, planet-specific rules, exclusive card pools, and dynamic deck building combine to create trillions of possible matchups. Planet synergies can dramatically change how the game plays, delivering endless strategic depth and replayability.

Lots of updates! Feedback Form, Visual Upgrades and more!

Armada - Version 0.1.2.5Feedback Form We’ve introduced a brand-new, highly requested feedback form! This addition also gives us a chance to chat a bit about how we handle your suggestions in general. The form is built directly into the game and features several categories to help guide your input. If you aren't sure which one to choose, simply select "Feedback." When submitting, you’ll also need to include an emoji—we aren't 100% sure if this is the absolute best method yet, but we’re testing it out to see if it helps us better categorize and prioritize our attention.Feedback CategoriesFeedback: General thoughts, whether positive or negative.Balance: Specifically for suggestions regarding card stats, mechanics, and game balance.Bug: For reporting technical issues (we think we all know what these look like!).Accessibility: Feedback on how it feels to interact with the game visually, audibly, or through inputs. If something is difficult to see, hear, or control, please let us know!Where to ShareWhile we collect feedback from every source we can find, we would prefer for it to go through our Discord. Centralizing everything there helps us aggregate data more efficiently and allows the community to see and support each other's ideas. We will still keep an eye on the Steam forums, but Discord remains our primary hub. Because of this, the in-game form sends your feedback directly to a public Discord channel. Please be aware that when you submit, your message will be visible to others. Don’t worry, though—the form uses a separate bot to handle the delivery, so it isn’t linked to your personal Discord account.Visual UpgradesWe have implemented several visual tweaks to improve clarity:Animated Borders: Added new animations to card borders to clearly indicate which cards can be activated and which cannot.Improved Drop Zones: Visualization for play areas has been enhanced; drop zones are now larger and more responsive, making it easier to play your cards exactly where you want t...
