Demon Bluff challenges you to spot deceit among allies and enemies in this social deduction puzzle. Can you outwit the demons in UmiArt’s strategic village game?

About this game

The cards lie! In this single-player social deduction game, demons have infiltrated your village and disguised themselves as allies. Every card you turn over is either a friend or a foe. Can you see through their bluff?

A ROGUELIKE CARD GAME WHERE YOUR DECK IS FULL OF LIES

Demon Bluff combines the tension of social deduction games with the replay value of a single-player roguelike deckbuilder.

Your goal is to investigate a corrupted village, gather information from each character, and piece together the truth to uncover and slay every demon in hiding.

Each character is represented by a card - Villager and Outcast cards will help you track them down with information and unique abilities. But be careful -  Demons and Minions have disguised themselves as Villagers and will try to mislead you. Will you be able to see through their lies?

MANY MODES TO MASTER

Face the lies and save multiple corrupted villages in one run, with an expanding deck of randomized cards. Or, draft your own in Deckbuilding mode - then conquer a multi-part run where you’ll encounter new and increasingly complex cards, upgrades, and lies as you progress. Plus - test yourself with endless mode, challenges, and more.

EXPAND, UNLOCK, AND CUSTOMIZE

Keep saving villages and unlock dozens of new character cards to expand your deck or encounter in randomized runs. Then, customize them with alternate skins, card backs, and decorations you’ll collect as you play.

FEATURES:

  • 100+ unique character cards to collect

  • Cosmetic unlocks and customization

  • Increasingly complex mechanics and challenges

  • Multiple modes and scenarios to encounter and master

  • And remember - THE CARDS LIE.

Steam Next Fest - Demo Update!

Hey everyone!Demon Bluff is participating in the June 2026 edition of the Steam Next Fest. To celebrate, we're launching an update for the demo that contains some exciting new stuff :)Here's what the new v0.760e demo update includes:New character - INVESTIGATOR: He allows you to pick any 2 cards and learn the most suspicious character type among them.New unlockable skins for Baa and ShamanNew Oracle Action system: This lets you recap previous character actions like reveals, ability activations, and kills.Balance change - Most abilities will no longer refresh after each Night Cycle. Ability refreshes after each Night will become a new character mechanic, available only to few characters. Currently only Dreamer will refresh after each Night.(Dev comment: Adding Lycanthrope/Werewolf made the Night Cycle much more frequent. This made some villages - especially ones with a larger amount of characters - a bit too easy. For now we decided to disable ability refreshes for almost all current characters, but will explore how to balance this mechanic for more characters.)Additionally, we've got a bunch of bug fixes and tweaks included in this demo update: Fixed an issue on draw mode and with the report tool what allowed infinite rerollsFixed some issues that caused frame drops when revealing cards at round startFixed an issue that caused hearts and village progress to remain after leaving respective modesRemoved the ability for Oracle to mention Wretch in her informationFixed an issue where cards could repeat abilities after the night cycleFixed an issue where the pinned deck UI element would remain even with the option offFixed an issue where you could skip villages in Deckbuilding mode by spamming "Next"Fixed an issue where the card removal feature would have all cards unflipped during selectionFixed an issue with the skin UI element presenting white artifactsFixed an issue where pressing space multiple times would allow Lillis to kill several cards at onceFixed and issue wh...

Demo Update v0.752a - Bug fixes, UI improvements, Oracle updates + more

Hey everyone! Demo version v0.752a is out now - here's a summary of what we've fixed and changed.Characters: Chancellor - Fixed a bug where he was creating a random number of additional Outcasts instead of just 1 OutcastConfessor / Rambler interaction - Fixed a bug where she was incorrectly seen as Lying by Rambler in few cases. She should in fact be always Truthful, even if Corrupted.Dreamer - Fixed a bug where she couldn't select Wretch. Witness - Fixed a bug where he incorrectly saw Alchemist as affected by an Evil in few cases.Witness - Additionally he will see a Hidden Outcast by Baa as affected by Evil. Bishop - Fixed a bug where she couldn't be Revealed in few cases.Oracle / Wretch interaction - Oracle will no longer give information on Wretch (this was too confusing for new players) - I will still keep an eye on this interaction and try to possibly balance it in some other way. Relics: Fixed a bug where Severed Braid would clear all statuses from the copied Villager.Systems: Updated Oracle system - Fixed Reveal order for cards, added Kill order and Information reveal order.Info panels will now show a range of possible Evils / Outcasts. Previously it showed only a minimum amount of characters, but now it should account for possible Lycanthrope transformation, Chancellor creating an Outcast or Puppeteer creating a Puppet.Deckbuilding will now unlock after 10 saved villages overall in Endless ModeSkins: Rambler skin should be unlockable againUI improvements: New skin unlock screenMany other panel updates and UI fixesVarious localization fixes

This should avoid issues like: Corrupted Alchemists or un-Corrupted Villagers that were Alchemists before.Fixed a bug where a Lycanthrope created by Chancellor wouldn't add Night Phase to the round.Lycanthrope will now transform into a Werewolf before Lilis can kill — so he should be much less likely targeted by her.Werewolf will no longer deal damage when dead.Fixed a bug where Cards were automatically pinned below a deck in the HUD - even if this option was disabled.Fixed few smaller UI issues.
