    Quick Fix Customization Screen

The previous fix for window resizing inadvertently made the customize screen a fully blacked out scene. You had to randomly pick your customizations, but that should be fixed now!

    Transparent Framework Patch

Large code patch today, that should have no impact on gameplay (other than slightly better load times when reloading levels). The patch today was to improve a bunch of areas of my shared framework, which is used between games. There were things that were added in this game that will be useful for future games and current prototyping, so I wanted to make these improvements official in the framework. If you run into any issues let me know! But hopefully it's smooth all around.

Sheep for the Stars Update 1.1

Sheep for the Stars has been out for almost a month now, so it's time for a 1.1 version with all the accumulated bug fixes and adjustments from feedback. Some of the stuff listed has been deployed in previous minor patches, but I'm consolidating all of the updates and details into this one post along with some other changes that went into this current version today. As always, thanks everyone for all the feedback you've left through Steam Reviews, Discord, Reddit and even YouTube Shorts. That's right, I watch your shorts and look for feedback in there too! If you have any more feedback or thoughts and praises, feel free to continue sending them through all those channels!Balance and PlayabilityIf you tried the game early on in the launch, these changes might be for you! Since the initial release there have been a few tweaks made to the balance and difficulty of the overall single player experience. Some S-Ranks near the middle of the campaign (World 3 was definitely a target) have had their time buffers increased a little. Nothing more than 1 or 2 seconds on any single level, but a few of the times required near perfect routing so this has been relaxed a little. We'll leave the perfect routing to the speed runners and Challenge Mode enjoyers.Additionally, here's a quick list of some other things that changed in this category:Fuel pickups have a larger collision radius that more accurately reflects the object sizeSpike collision area reduced a little to make "near misses" more excitingHit-stop on fuel pickups (single player only) has been tweaked to avoid flow-state impactReset button re-enabled for levels you haven't beaten yetReset button changed to a hold (for half a second) to reset the current levelMultiplayerDid you know this game has multiplayer? Well it does, and it's a blast. It takes all the rage of trying to complete challenge mode or S-Ranking harder levels, with the added chaos of PvP racing and player collisions. Joy!What didn't bring joy however, was a w...

    Fixing Steam Lobbies

Hey everyone, there have been a few bugs related to Steam Lobbies that are finally fixed in the latest patch. Here's a summary of issues: - Quitting a multiplayer game and rehosting results in ghost lobbies that can't start games - Quitting a multiplayer game can cause clients to be unable to join the host again without a restart - Disconnecting during a match can also relate in the above issues - Slower connections would sometimes end up in an issue where they can't ever see any lobbies in the list - Additionally, the same connections also had a problem hosting games after a game can end The above issues have all been fixed (yay!). But there are probably some new ones, please let me know if you run into any more and either leave a comment here or reach out on the Discord Server to figure out a reproduction case so I can get it tackled quickly. Workarounds you can use if you have issues playing multiplayer: - Hosting always seems to work, so any client that joined a game can restart their client and will be able to play again without issues - If you have trouble seeing lobbies or joining them, you can use the steam overlay to join a friend's lobby directly. Just run the game, and when you're at the title screen / main menu, open the overlay (shift + tab) and right click -> Join game for a friend who is playing. This will put you right into the lobby and bypass the search. Hope it's all working great now! Happy sheeping!
