Embark on intense raids and evolve your build through random upgrades in Nullpoint Protocol. Experience high-level MMO challenges without the grind in this engaging Action-RPG from Everbloom Games.
About this game
The universe is dying one star at a time, and your civilization is next. In Nullpoint Protocol, you and up to three allies face the void’s deadliest shepherds in a roguelite boss-rush where every encounter delivers the intensity and precision of a high-level MMO raid.
Whether you brave the void alone or face the darkness alongside trusty allies, difficulty scales to match your squad. Every run feels challenging but fair, and always tempting you into ”just one more try."
Each boss unleashes complex attack patterns that must be learned, read, and dodged. Every run is another chance to sharpen your skills as you prepare to face the final boss.
But stay alert: attack patterns change from run to run. No boss fight is ever the same twice!
With each Void Shepherd slain, you are rewarded with a random selection of ability upgrades. From meteor strikes to turrets to healing powers, crafting creative and powerful skill combinations is critical to success.
Bold choices will shape your path forward. Will you hunt down other adversaries, shop to optimize your build, or roll the dice on mystery events that could dramatically alter your entire run?
The stars have begun to wink out, disappearing one by one. Upon discovering the monstrous Void Shepherds, your people have drawn their attention. Now they are coming after your species, but you will not go quietly into the night.
Gear up and face the aberrations as they prey upon planets across the galaxy. Destroy these threats before they can drag more planets into oblivion and strengthen your body and mind as you prepare to face the Shepherds' creator, Void Genesis.
Should you fail, your civilization will be exterminated, and you will return eons later as a different species in yet another attempt to prevent apocalyptic catastrophe, lest the same tragedy happen again.

Performance Update
Hi everyone,We are continuing the trend of improving the game based on your feedback. In this update, we have pushed a major fix for some of the performance issues new players were seeing. There was an issue with the way we were pre-compiling shaders on the loading screen that made it so ability VFX weren't pre-compiled, so they had to render the first time they ran, causing a significant lag spike. We've managed to pinpoint this issue and fix it, there should be no more lag spikes on the first use of an ability. If you still experience any please let us know! Best place to do that is our Discord.Next up we will be improving boss attack readability based on your feedback, stay tuned! Here are the full patch notes:Nullpoint Protocol v1.0.3Fixed stutters caused by rendering objects for the first timeCycles now begin with 50 credits by default.Fixed some achievements not being obtainable.Events now yield 4x the amount of RPChanged currencies given by comets: now RP or RP + Credits, instead of Credits or RP + Credits.Fixed Absorb Crush healing not properly scaling with STR. If anyone continues to experience stutters please let us know those should be fixed at this point!Read full article on Community Announcements (Everbloom Games)AnnouncementsOfficial
Addressing your feedback V1.0.2
Hi everyone,Thank you for all the feedback you've given us on the game, both positive and negative. We hear you. We are actively working on making the game better and live up to its potential. We have introduced some changes that will tackle some key areas of feedback: The issue: - The pacing of the game is too slow; there are too many events, rests, and shops compared to boss fights. What we've done: - We now guarantee a boss fight in the first cycle you go through. - We've also reduced the amount of shops, rests, and events in early cycles. This should get you into the action a lot quicker and not waste your time on shops and rests that don't meaningfully impact your game early on. The issue: - Boss attacks are unclear, hard to read and messyWhat we've done:We've tweaked the visibility of various elements of different boss fights. We know there is more work to be done here; we will get to it after we have addressed more pressing issues.Graphics issues:Unfortunately, there is a graphical issue on 50XX series NVIDIA cards with the latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver (595.97), where textures go black, and the game becomes unplayable. This is an engine-wide issue with the Godot game engine and this specific combination of graphics card and driver. We have contacted NVIDIA and Godot about this. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do from our end. We've introduced a pop-up into the game that detects when you have that combination of graphics card and driver, telling you to downgrade your driver or launch the game in the D3D12 version. This should fix the issue. Note that launching the game with D3D12 will have an effect on the game's performance. We are looking into making further changes to early run pacing and other quality of life changes. We hope these changes help you to enjoy Nullpoint Protocol. We are a small team dedicated to making this game the best it can be, we appreciate your patience. Here is the full list of changes:Nullpoint Protocol v1.0.2Made various adjust...Read full article on Community Announcements (Everbloom Games)Patch NotesOfficial
Nullpoint Protocol v1.0.1
Nullpoint Protocol v1.0.1This is a small update to address some post-launch issues. More assets are now pre-loaded during the initial loading screen. This should reduce stutters during gameplay when attacks occur for the first time.Player hit sound now has a cooldown.Updated status screen tutorial image.Reduced prices of items purchasable using VS Samples. If you are using the 595.97 Nvidia drivers on a new generation of graphics card (50XX series), you may get a strange graphical bug. If you downgrade to an older driver (anything in the 580s) it will solve this issue. The easiest way to downgrade your driver is to go to the Nvidia app > drivers > scroll down to previously installed and click the 3 dots to reinstall an older version.Read full article on Community Announcements (Everbloom Games)AnnouncementsOfficial
