Navigate through a digital maze, deploying defenses to thwart virus waves at Cyber Beacons. In Wireframe Warfare, your strategic decisions shape the outcome against relentless threats.

About this game

Wireframe Warfare is a Singleplayer Action/Tower Defense hybrid game created by a solo developer over the course of a year. Blast and strategize your way through various levels, combating waves of viruses attacking Cyber Beacons across the pathways of a digital space.

Tackle 6 different maps and 6 degrees of difficulty, with 7 distinct weapons, 7 varied towers and 75+ Skills to augment your play style!

More maps, weapons, towers and skills to come with future updates!

T.A.N.K (ACTION GAMEPLAY)

Tactical Armored Nexus Keeper, or T.A.N.K for short, is a customizable program with several different offensive weapons and modular attachments. During gameplay, you will be controlling your own version of a T.A.N.K, harnessing its power to defend the Cyber Beacons.

S.T.A.N.D (Tower Defense)

Secure Tower Allocation and Network Defense protocol is the foundation of your defense against Viruses. Deploy offensive towers to deal damage, defensive towers to debuff and utility towers to boost your resources.

Play Your Way

Use the Skill system to tailor the T.A.N.K program to your play style. Like to take hits and keep going? Boost your defense. Tired of having to refill your health or ammo? Boost those too!

In addition to skills, the T.A.N.K program can also use Attachments. Cosmetic items that boost stats like speed, defense, ramming damage and more. Swap these around to find the combo of Attachments that works best for you!

Customize Your T.A.N.K

Make the T.A.N.K program your own with cosmetic items and color variations.

Note from Developer:

"Please be aware that the game currently has some limited settings, such as lacking a Rebind keys option and full controller support. Some users have had luck with Steam Deck usage and I will be expanding upon this in the future.

There are plans to add some additional weapons, towers, skills and maps. So while the game has reached V1.0, there is still more work to be done.

I thank anyone who gives my game a chance and supports my growth as a game developer. I'm only a solo dev and this is my first commercial release, so I look forward to any constructive feedback players can offer.

Please enjoy Wireframe Warfare!"

    Wireframe Warfare V1.1d

Greetings Users! I'm back with some updates to the WW tutorial, which was in a painfully bad state. Made some other tweaks as noted below. Additions Tutorial/Showcase Added some text panels with directions to help guide players through the tutorial and hopefully alleviate any of the previous growing pains. Main Menu Added a new panel to the main menu with info about my new game Wireframe: Racing! Also added a silly blurb with the title. Changes Tutorial/Showcase Took out the FTP enemy that was in the tutorial. Most players had a bad experience with this enemy and in general lead to a game over screen that felt unfair. This enemy was replaced with a bunch of the halfpint enemies you can run over. The player also starts with a tower already placed and enough bits to setup a tower right from the get-go. I do sincerely hope the tutorial is able to help players feel like they are grasping the mechanics of the game now. FTP Enemy Made an addition to the FTP enemy type where they have a label above their head with the word "DANGER!" written out. I hope this properly identifies it as more of a threat to newer players and helps single them out for older players. Buttons Adjusted several buttons in the game to actually show that they are buttons with hover over effects. I don't know why they were created and not given that to begin with. Weird... HUD Made several HUD adjustments like labelling the Beacon HP bar at the top of the screen for both standard gameplay and in the TD Overview mode. Also moved the flashing TAB button to the bottom of the screen and adjusted its size to be more obvious. On the TD Overview screen, I've moved the Start Wave button to the lower center of the screen and increased its size a little. The winner screen used to say "Press G to finish" or something but I removed that and made it more clear how to finish a level. Fixes Main Menu Fixed some material weirdness with the tower models under Defense. Also fixed the old link for the Vapor Cat Games Dis...

    Wireframe Warfare v1.1c (Patch)

Greetings Users, This is a game patch using the newer version of Unity with their vulnerability fix in place. For more information on this, please see Unity's Remediation Guide. In addition, progress on the next Wireframe game has been taking some time to make and Wireframe Warfare (WW) hasn't received any updates. These updates are coming and some good system changes for WW are on the way too. As a small thank you for any continued support, I've added in a special vanity item for the tank. This item is a reference to another indie dev named CodeWonderland and their games Wonderware and Chicken Flight. Please check out their games and continue to support indie devs! Until the next time, take care! -Azirin

    Wireframe Warfare V1.1

Wireframe Warfare Update V1.1 QoL Update Greetings Users! I’ve finally managed to get enough pushed into this Quality of Life update that I’m feeling positive about releasing it. While this isn’t everything that needs the QoL touch, it is a lot of it. This update also addresses many of the bugs or issues players reported to me. There will be some additions between the next large update and this one, so if something wasn’t added or fixed, it might be part of a smaller V1.1 fix. This update has not added any new content as I was focused on making the base game experience as good as I can before a full month went by. Future updates will begin to add more things, such as maps, weapons, towers and enemies. If you had an idea for new content or wanted to check on updates for Wireframe Warfare, please consider joining the Vapor Cat Games Discord: https://discord.gg/ZWFKqpGJgS I greatly appreciate all the support I’ve been given over the time of my games release and I hope this update makes the game a little more fun to play. Thank you, Kyle Fixes • Fixed Map 2 mini-map gap • Fixed Doors closing on player and flipping them or pushing them through the ground • Removed control and alt firing weapons • Fixed tower on equip menu staying visible when swapping back to the tank • Fixed weapon purchase colors not setting correctly upon returning from the skills menu • Fixed loading menu not scaling with ultra-wide monitors • Fixed winning final round still showing incoming info on the Defense Overview • Fixed number counters being missized when spawning from an enemy and zoomed in • Fixed tower not being selected when you click anywhere else on the screen • Fixed end level cinematic being exited by using the defense overview key • Fixed Bank Tower icon being too small on mini-map • Fixed weapons jamming when opening the defense overview and firing at the same time • Fixed tower stat UI not showing proper stat blocks for the tower types • Fixed “Defense Stats” section in the equip m...
