    Replicat Major Update #1

Hello Replicatters!I’ve been cooking a big update, and it’s finally ready to serve! This one comes packed with fresh content and exciting new features.I’m also thrilled to be part of Turn-Based Thursday Fest again, the perfect excuse to drop this juicy update right alongside the celebration. 🃏 4 New Cards! Two of them are special cameos from the fantastic games Nubby’s Number Factory and My Card Is Better Than Your Card! I’m super proud (and grateful) to have them featured in Replicat. The other two cards open up fun new combo possibilities for your deck! 🎁 5 New Curios! The new curios shake up gameplay in unique ways from clever rule-twisters to powerful boosters. One of them even allow you to enable/disable curios each round, adding more room for strategy and chaos.🚫 Item Banning at CollectionYou can now ban up to 10 items in your collection menu, preventing them from appearing in your next run. Perfect for cleaning up your pool or fine-tuning your favorite build.👻 New Deck: Phantom DeckThe mysterious Phantom Deck has arrived! It’s built entirely around GHOST cards, letting you literally play every card on the board. Eerie, powerful, and tons of fun to experiment with.🏆 New AchievementNew achievements aren’t always everyone’s favorite but since we already have one for completing each deck, it only makes sense to add one for conquering the Phantom Deck too!🎮 Cameos Section in CreditsThere’s now a dedicated Cameos section on the Credits page where you can check out all the awesome games that contributed cards to Replicat.📱 Mobile Version NewsMore good news: the mobile port of Replicat is almost done! There’s still a bit of testing and bug-fixing left, but things are looking great. Post Launch Devlog #2

Happy Repliyear everyone! Wishing you all a fantastic 2026 filled with epic matches, high scores, and plenty of cat-powered combos in Replicat.I've been away from my PC for a bit. I took a trip to Istanbul to bring my cat Mario back to Berlin with me. I had to leave him behind when I first moved here, and being apart was tough. Now he's finally here, purring away and providing top-tier morale support while I grind on updates. Nothing boosts productivity like a fuzzy supervisor!I rolled a fairly big update today! Big news: German localization is finally here! Now you can Replikatze in your native tongue. 🐱🇩🇪 If you spot any translation quirks, please reach out. Your feedback is wichtig! This update packs a ton of fixes, quality of life tweaks, and balance changes. Players were absolutely breaking endless mode with some wild combos, so I dialed back a few overpowered cards that scaled too hard with burning. I also squashed a bunch of bugs and added features to make the game smoother and more newbie friendly. One of my favorite additions is the new Multiplier Display. It pops up right under your active hand score, breaking down exactly what multipliers are coming from individual cards or curios. Hopefully this makes combos crystal clear for beginners. What do you think? Hit me up with your thoughts!

    Post Launch Dev Log #1

Hello hello Replicatters! It’s been a really fun and also hectic time for me after launch, but here I am finally dropping a new devlog. Thank you so much to everyone who bought the game and took the time to leave a review on the Steam page, it genuinely means a lot.I’ve been rolling out small updates, fixing bugs and adding some quality-of-life improvements to the game. I’m doing my best to listen to all the feedback you’ve been giving, and I appreciate every bit of it.BugfixesWith all the different permutations from card combos and curios, there are still plenty of edge cases that turn into bug reports. There have also been a number of visual issues fixed, and the goal is to keep making the game feel as smooth as possible. Please keep sending bug reports either on Discord or through this form, they really help.Quality of lifeI’m working on changes that should make the overall experience better, like adding more visual and textual information in key places. I’ve also been watching streamers play to understand what’s missing in terms of tutorialization and mechanic indicators. For example, some players get confused when they match an AUTO pair or reveal a single STAY card and end the turn with an odd number of moves, leaving one card revealed at the end. That can look like they clicked too fast and flipped a card just before the turn ended, even though that’s not what’s happening.Another thing noticed is that even if players read the tutorial about “new cards joining the board,” many still don’t pay close attention to the board state at the end of a turn and miss easy matches. I’ll keep thinking about these situations to find clearer wording and better tutorialization.Endless mode and balanceEndless Mode was never meant to be the main focus of the game; it’s more of a way to see what can happen in later rounds. The score system now supports really big numbers, but players keep finding ways to break it, including overflowing the money.Future updates will tackle these ki...
