In Earthlings, manage your settlers' growth while battling natural calamities. This quirky strategy game from Studio Monoblok challenges you to create unique monuments for a cosmic delivery man masquerading as a deity.

About this game

Earthlings is a minimalistic resource & colony management game set in ancient times. A space delivery guy accidentally became your God, and you are the only one who can understand his requests. After he turned your pharaoh into a cat, it's probably wise to cooperate with him for now. He wants you to create art he can sell across the galaxy, so you direct your people to build settlements, design monuments, and deliver them on time. Your new overlord can get impatient when things don't go smoothly, so he may accidentally trigger additional challenging events you'll need to handle.

Lead The Earthlings 🫳

Build thriving settlements and coordinate your hardworking Earthlings using an satisfying grab & drop mechanic. With small teams, every decision counts - prioritize resource gathering, construction, or monument building based on current needs. Grow your settlements to recruit more workers and unlock smoother, more efficient operations.

Create Weird Monuments 🗿

Here's where creativity meets strategy - design custom monuments using collectible part cards. Each part offers different bonuses once your creation launches into space. Experiment with combinations to get exactly the buffs your settlement needs, whether that's faster workers, better defenses, or resource boosts. Plus, watching your wild architectural experiments come to life is genuinely satisfying!

Deliver & Earn Reputation 🛸

Launch your completed monuments into space to earn valuable boosters and build the reputation your boss craves. Miss a deadline and he gets impatient, triggering chaotic events you'll need to handle. He's also fond of throwing "optional" extra requests your way - and you know how those go... they're never really optional.

Protect Your Settlements 🛡️

While settlement building stays peaceful, venturing into new territories for resources brings some excitement - unfriendly wildlife, tricky environments, and your boss's anxiety-triggered events. Keep your teams safe and operations running, because losing experienced workers slows down your carefully planned efficiency.

Learn, Upgrade, Get Better 🔁

As you progress, you'll build settlements in more challenging biomes. Don't worry if you can't complete them on the first try - that's part of the fun! You'll permanently unlock new part cards with better bonuses, upgrade existing cards, and gain access to new buildings and in-level upgrade options. Return to previous challenges stronger than before, while dynamic biomes and events keep each playthrough fresh.

    Your Questions Answered

Hey everyone! You've been asking great questions about the game across various forums, so we figured it's time to answer them all in one place.Q: Who am I actually playing as?You're one of the Earthlings. A worker who somehow understands G's demands. G is your mission giver, your shady overlord, and a bit your enemy. He'll keep making your life harder while you smile and nod. In the full game, you'll be able to choose your character and pick from different strengths.Q: Is the whole game set in the desert?Nope! The desert is just where the story begins. The full game takes you through four distinct biomes, each with their own events, hazards, and enemies. Here is sneak peek:Q: There's no coal in ancient Egypt though...Are you sure this is Egypt? Earthlings is set in a fictional ancient world. One where anything can happen. And will happen. Like coal in Egypt.Q: What's the deal with those weird creatures? Some of them - hyenas, vultures - are just regular Earthly wildlife. But ever since G landed, something has been waking up. Ancient beasts are stirring, and ordinary animals are turning into something far scarier. Our best theory? It has something to do with G's anxiety levels, which seem to affect the entire ecosystem around him.Q: What are those satellite things in the demo?G didn't come empty-handed. He has some serious tech at his disposal, and he's putting it to good use to set up his little business operation on Earth.Q: Will the game have Hungarian localization?Igen! In other words: Yes, Hungarian will be fully supported in the full game, alongside several other languages. A few translations may arrive shortly after the 1.0 release, but Hungarian is on the list.Q: What about Steam Deck and controller support?Controller support is coming for the full release. The current demo is focused on mouse & keyboard, but it runs well on Steam Deck using the touch pads. Give it a try!Thx once again for your questions. Try the demo, tell a friend, wishlist!Talk to you next t...

    Earthlings Has Some Weird Enemies

Hey Dear People,To celebrate our participation in the Flash Game Vibes Steam Event, we are here with a new update! This time, we dive deep into the topic of enemies. We are going through the ones you have to deal with in the demo! Have you tried it already? Not yet? Go for it!TL;DR - If you don't like reading, watch the video!Earthlings is all about managing resources - manpower, water, time, building materials. Your goal is to design and build monuments for your new alien god, who's selling your art across the galaxy. He's shady, but he has the upper hand, so it's wise to cooperate for now.Getting those resources won't always be easy. Some are located in territories surrounded by enemies.HyenasThe simplest ones are hyenas. They'll make you build barracks to train soldiers. Usually a few soldiers can take care of them.MummiesMummies are trickier. Their spit is venomous, so they can hurt your people from a distance. Taking care of them requires more attention. Beating them isn't enough - you also have to close the tomb they're coming from, otherwise they return and cause further trouble.SandwormsG, your alien god, has a special... well, power. Like any incompetent boss, he's great at triggering chaos. As he slowly loses his patience with you, wanting you to increase your settlement's reputation to the max ASAP, his outbursts trigger supernatural events. It's not clear how he's doing it, but you have to take these happenings seriously. One example: his anxiety attracts bloodthirsty sandworms that attack from underground. You need to make sure you have enough protection, otherwise they can be devastating to your settlement. The GiantThen there's this big guy. His IQ is inversely proportional to his size and power. You'll usually need more soldiers to take him down. His punch is like getting hit by a train. Beating him also means you'll probably secure some precious rare resources as a reward, so it's worth taking the challenge. These enemies are already part of the Earthl...
