Combat

Fight Ascension is a game inspired by Arena Shooters but focused on melee combat, featuring manual mechanics that give the player full control over every movement.

You play as Sentinel Ignis, a warrior who wields fire to battle his foes. Trapped in an arena filled with humanoid monsters, your goal is to survive as long as possible and reach increasingly challenging stages!

BALANCE - Retaliation Boost can now be triggered multiple times. - When having 3 Specials, the number of enemies in Stage 1 has been reduced from 10 to 9. - Ultimate damage has been increased. FIXES - Fixed an issue where Score drops wouldn’t spawn when killing some enemies at the edge of the stage. - Fixed FireBall stopping in mid-air when missing a target at long distances. - Fixed Critical Damage applying to attacks that don’t use fire.

    1.0.21 Hotfix

    NEW - Critical Damage now triggers a blue animation on the enemy's body to indicate that it has been activated. - The Retaliation Boost description in the Gameplay Types menu is now clearer, specifying that it can only be activated by Specials and Ultimates. - The Critical Damage description has been updated to clarify that the fire changes to blue when activated. BALANCE - When using 3 Specials, the purple-eyed enemy will appear starting from Stage 3, while the two-headed enemy begins appearing from Stage 1. The enemy count on screen remains increased from 8 to 10, instead of 10 to 12. - The (Damage from basic attacks) improvement was reduced from 50% to 42%. - The (Damage in Ultimate Attacks) improvement was increased from 25% to 80%. - Increased the usage limit for improvements from 3 to 4. - Increased Ultimate meter gain from punches. FIXES - Fixed an issue where pause menu options would not return to the last selected option. - Fixed an issue where Retaliation Boost would trigger from basic fire combos with critical damage, instead of just Specials and Ultimates.

    Stage 1 Improvements, Balancing & Fixes

    NEW - New information has been added to the Gameplay Tips menu about getting up quickly when knocked down. BALANCE - Now in Stage 1, there is a chance of stronger enemies appearing, which increases with the use of two or three Specials. The number of enemies will increase from 8 to 10, and then to 12. This change was made to prevent Stage 1 from becoming too easy for players who have already gained more experience with the game. Some players reported that Stage 1 became boring after mastering the gameplay, with the fun starting only from Stages 2 and 3 onward. 10 enemies when two Specials are being used + chance to spawn two-headed enemies. 12 enemies when three Specials are being used + chance to spawn purple-eyed enemies and two-headed enemies. - Fire Ball score cost adjusted. - Fire Ball Special bar cost adjusted. - Fire Boost damage reduced from 40 to 30. FIXES - Fixed the icon for returning to the game exit menus not appearing. - Fixed an issue where the music volume during gameplay was not adjusted when changed while the game was paused. - Fixed improved critical damage being used by the purple-eyed enemy instead of the player. - Fixed critical damage calculation exceeding the 17% value. - Fixed Fire Boost increasing damage for fire attacks from combos, instead of only affecting Specials. - Fixed Fire One-Inch Punch in the upgrades menu not showing the actual expenditure of the Special bars in the red icon.
