About this game

Torn Veil is a first-person psychological horror game that plunges you into a chilling narrative of scientific ambition, moral decay, and the terrifying consequences of playing god. Torn Veil combines stunning visuals, immersive sound design, and a deeply unsettling atmosphere to deliver an unforgettable horror experience.

You awaken in a dense forest, drawn to a mysterious twin house that feels hauntingly familiar. As you step inside, you’re greeted by an eerie advertisement on a flickering TV:
“Welcome to the future of existence. Your soul is more than a vessel—it’s a resource. Expand your existence. Join the waitlist today. But remember… there’s no turning back.”

The house is a labyrinth of secrets, each room hiding clues to the dark experiments that took place here. Explore the decaying interiors, solve intricate puzzles, and uncover the truth behind the Torn Veil project—a groundbreaking but horrifying attempt to harness the power of the human soul.

As you delve deeper into the basement, you’ll encounter the remnants of the scientists’ experiments:

  • The Crooked Soul: A malevolent entity born from a failed soul transfer, now stalking the halls and feeding on the living.

  • Weeping Angels: Statues that come to life when you look away. Keep your eyes on them—or face a gruesome end.

  • The Maze: A sprawling, ever-shifting labyrinth filled with traps, puzzles, and the lingering echoes of lost souls.

Armed with only a shotgun and your wits, you must survive the horrors of the basement, confront the Crooked Soul, and escape before your soul becomes the next experiment.

  • Immersive Horror: Experience a deeply atmospheric world brought to life with Unreal Engine 5’s cutting-edge graphics, including realistic lighting, shadows, and environmental details.

  • Psychological Terror: Face unnerving enemies, solve mind-bending puzzles, and navigate a narrative that blurs the line between reality and nightmare.

  • Dynamic Gameplay: From tense exploration to heart-pounding chases and brutal combat, Torn Veil keeps you on the edge of your seat.

  • Rich Storytelling: Uncover the tragic tale of the scientists and their families through environmental storytelling, cryptic notes.

Step into the world of Torn Veil and experience a horror game that will leave you questioning the very nature of existence. Are you ready to face the darkness?

Wishlist now and prepare to uncover the secrets of the Torn Veil. Your support as an indie developer means everything—thank you for being part of this journey.
