  🎃 Spiritstead Halloween Update is Here!

  Things are getting a little spooky around here.For Halloween, Spiritstead has had a seasonal makeover. The land, trees and sky have all changed, villagers are dressing for the occasion, and there are some new decorations to find along the way. 🎃 New Halloween decorationsWe’ve added new Halloween decorations to help you make your village a little more festive or a lot more cursed, depending on what you’re going for.In Survival Mode, they become available once you reach the Swamp.If you’re playing in Creative Mode, you can find them straight away under the Swamp tab. 👻 Villagers are dressing up tooThe villagers have joined in and are now wearing special Halloween outfits for the season.Somehow, they seem very comfortable with this. 🌙 The whole map has changedIt isn’t just the decorations.The land, trees and sky have all been given a Halloween makeover, so the whole world should feel a little darker and spookier while the event is active. 🎵 A spooky new main menuThe main menu has also been taken over for Halloween, with a special seasonal look and new Halloween music playing in the background.The music is only in the main menu, so make sure you hang around there for a moment before jumping back into your village.🎮 A quick note about the demoThe Spiritstead demo will be live from October 8–12 and will not be Halloween themed.   Hi everyone!It’s now been a little over a week since Spiritstead launched, and we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has played, left a review, shared feedback, reported bugs, or shown us their villages. ❤️We’ve been reading through your comments and discussions since launch, and we’ve already released updates addressing some of the most common feedback, including expanded visual settings, Bloom being disabled by default, bug fixes, and the new Summon Rain God Power.We’ve also noticed a few questions coming up regularly, so we’ve put together a Spiritstead FAQ covering gameplay questions, achievements, technical issues, Steam Deck, controller support, Mac, and more.👉 You can find the full FAQ here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/3501540/discussions/0/587308895728517969/ What to expect from SpiritsteadWe also wanted to clarify what kind of experience Spiritstead is for anyone who is considering picking it up.Spiritstead is a small, laid back village building game focused on growing your village, managing resources, discovering spirits, completing quests, and progressing through its different biomes.A typical playthrough takes around 3-5 hours, depending on how quickly you progress and how much time you spend building and exploring. You can continue playing afterwards to expand your villages, unlock anything you missed, and experiment with different layouts.What are we working on?For now, our main focus is continuing to improve the existing game based on the feedback we receive.We’re looking at balancing, quality-of-life improvements, bugs, and other commonly reported issues.We know there has also been a lot of interest in Steam Deck, controller support, and Mac.   Spiritstead is Now Available on Steam!

  After almost two years of development, Spiritstead is finally available on Steam! 🥳What began as a small project we thought would take around four months grew into our first full game as a team. Along the way, we went through redesigns, stubborn bugs, countless playtests, and many late nights, but we kept going and finally made it across the finish line. ❤️We also want to give a huge thank you to the WINGS team. Their support allowed us to make Spiritstead into the game it is today. They guided and encouraged us throughout development, and we learned so much from having them by our side. We truly could not have asked for a better team to support us on this journey.And thank you to everyone who played the demo, shared feedback, wishlisted the game, created content, or supported us throughout development. We truly hope you enjoy exploring the world of Spiritstead!Spiritstead is available now with a 10% launch discount for the next two weeks.Important note for demo playersThe full game has changed significantly since the demo, so demo save files are not compatible with the release version. Although an old save may still appear in the menu, continuing it could cause bugs. Please start a new game for the best experience.

  Spiritstead Launches in Less Than 24 Hours! 🥳

  Spiritstead launches tomorrow, August 6, at 19:00 CEST! 🥳 🎉As we prepare for release, we’ll be taking down the demo at midnight tonight, August 6 at 00:00 CEST. The demo is now quite outdated compared to the full game, which includes many improvements, fixes, and new content.⚠️ Important Notice About Demo SavesSave files from the demo are not compatible with the full game.Your old demo saves may still appear in the full game, but attempting to continue them could cause bugs or prevent the game from working correctly. A lot has changed since the demo was released, so we strongly recommend starting a completely new save when playing the full version.Thank you so much to everyone who played the demo and shared their feedback with us. We can’t wait for you to experience the full game tomorrow!
