About this game

Survive the Addicted in a top-down shooter that blends chaos and strategy!
An energy drink gone wrong changed the world. Choose your hero, face ever-tougher waves, and upgrade your arsenal, solo or with friends, to clear as many waves as possible.
What awaits you?
Weapons
Get your hands on a wide range of weapons, pick your favorites, and start mowing down hordes of enemies.
Salvation For All
Use the Salvation For All to get weapons you won’t find on the map. These special weapons deal higher damage and, if you’re lucky, you might get the God Weapon, one of the most powerful weapons in the game.
Atonic
Atonic, the machine that created the infamous energy drink, has been reworked to imbue weapons with special powers. Try it out and feel the full power of your arsenal in your hands.
Vending Machine
Buy energy drink variants from vending machines to boost your stats and stay alive longer.
Power Up
Don’t forget to quickly pick up the power-ups dropped by the Addicted: they’re temporary boosts and they won’t last forever.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Happy holidays everyone! We hope you’re having a great end of the year. After a few weeks without updates, we wanted to share a simple roadmap of what we’re building next and what’s been happening behind the scenes. What we’re working on right now (end of year)Overall game optimizationA broader rework based on community feedbackThe biggest news: ONLINE CO-OP (up to 4 players) One of our top priorities is making the game something you can share with friends. Even though it’s a bigger effort, we’ve decided to implement online co-op for up to 4 players. We’re pushing hard to be ready for Steam Next Fest (March) with the final demo version.UI Rework (accelerated) With co-op coming in, we’re also doing a major UI rework to ensure a clean, smooth flow for both solo and co-op (joining a match, menus, etc.).Gameplay changes: characters + new perk category “Addiction”Character selection will no longer be availableYour character will be assigned randomlyCharacter skills will now be tied to Addiction, a new perk category chosen before the matchThe Addiction choice will be shared across the whole 4-player team in co-opTesting + possible early playtestOnce these features are in, we’ll be doing heavy internal testing. We’re also considering releasing an early playtest / early demo build before Next Fest to gather more feedback and make sure the March build is as solid as possible. We need your feedbackWhen it’s available, please try the demo and send feedback/bug reports. Every report helps us polish things for March. Thanks for all the support (Steam, Discord, DMs). The Addicted TeamRead full article on Community Announcements (Lelo89)Patch NotesOfficial
