About this game

Rapid Impact is an online PvP-PvE shooter set in a realistic post-apocalyptic world. Choose your preferred weapons and compete for the top spot in each match. Play against real players, AI, or both together.

The game features several modes: Free-for-All, Team Deathmatch, Zone Control, and Capture the Flag.

From the Developer:
As a solo developer, I created Rapid Impact as a project driven by community feedback and player suggestions. At this stage, I’ve built the core gameplay, and new features will be gradually added based on majority votes from players. During early access, the game will include the essential mechanics and core gameplay - but this is just the beginning. The future of the project will depend on your support and feedback.

Work on the new raid mode for Rapid Impact is actively ongoing.

At this point, it’s no longer just another update — it’s essentially a major rebuild of the game. The original version will mostly remain in terms of atmosphere and visual identity, while a huge portion of the gameplay systems is being redesigned from the ground up.The current focus is a large PvPvE raid location built around exploration, looting, progression, survival, and environmental storytelling. The first major milestone is planned around a 1x1 km map (possibly slightly larger), but this is only the beginning. Future updates will gradually expand the world with new connected regions and territories. The goal is not to create just another combat arena, but a world that actually feels interesting to explore — abandoned locations, hidden paths, dangerous zones, environmental storytelling, and places that reward curiosity. If optimization and server technology allow it, the long-term vision is to push the world size closer to 5x5 km or even beyond. At the same time, multiple major systems are being developed in parallel:— full inventory and looting system — completely new weapon and attachment system — optics, stocks, magazines, suppressors, and other modifications — weapon and supply trading/economy — character progression and unlock systems — early quest framework — PvPvE gameplay — AI human enemiesMutants and other hostile creatures are also planned for the future, most likely as part of the second major wave of updates after the core raid experience is established. The first milestone is intended to build the foundation for the entire new gameplay structure: a raid map, starter weapons and equipment, an initial progression tree, economy systems, looting mechanics, and the full gameplay loop of:enter raid → search for resources → survive → extract → strengthen your character. This update is taking a long time because an enormous amount of work is happening simultaneously. The goal is not to rush out “just another extraction shooter,” but to build something with a g...

    Winter Sale

Greetings, friends. It’s been a while since I last posted here, but there’s a good reason: a 90% discount during the Winter Sale. Everyone who wanted to try the project can now do so at the best possible price. As for the project itself, it’s not abandoned. Research is ongoing, new mechanics are being designed, and future updates are in development. Yes, I understand that many of you want something new as soon as possible. However, since the project doesn’t generate income for me yet and currently brings mostly expenses, I also have to handle other work alongside it.On top of that, I was waiting for high-quality updates to the core templates the project is built on, so I wouldn’t have to rework fundamental systems later. And yes, the project mostly moves at this pace because every update is something I quite literally give birth to and pass through myself. That’s because I want to deliver the highest-quality content possible, not updates just for the sake of it.So, the project is alive and will stay alive. This is a long-term story. In the meantime, feel free to jump in. Play the game, build the community, join the Discord server, and get involved. The more activity I see from you, the more motivation I’ll have, and the faster updates will be released.Stay in touch.
