  Patch No.2

  Heyo :)Here is a small update to fix some things. Thanks to all the people who reported the bugs. You are super helpful! We accidentally build in a save bug in the last update, so if you played the game in that time you might have a corrupted save file which let´s you not progress to the end of the game. We are super sorry that happened! We will definitely test future updates better to prevent that!Here is a list of fixed bugs:the save file issue I wrote aboveimproved the coloring for more decorationssome things did not save their color, and now they do (the cat´s eyes stay the same color yeii)The kite guy couldn´t catch the rainspirits, now you can get them all!some other small fixes, thanks to the discord community!What´s NextYou had the chance to vote on discord for the next item we add to the game. And the beehive won! So bee ready for the next update to have some adorable little fellas buzzin around in your garden. ^^While Arne is working hard on the Switch Port, I took some time to make some cool items for the Steampoints-Shop. Steam still takes some time to approve it, but you should be able to use all the cute Garden Ink emojis I created in the coming week!Have a wonderful daySven :)

  We appreciate your support!Your feedback is very useful and the support is giving us so much motivation!So many of you guys have bought our game and joined our discord community! We are having a great time with you guys and we are so thankful for all of the bug reports. And special thanks to all the people who wrote positive reviews and even bought our soundkit. Oh and because of all the positive engagement by you guys, Steam started noticing Garden Ink. They tested it a couple of days ago and now rated us as "Steam Deck verified"!!!We already fixed/improved some stuff!Games never release in a perfect state, they can't even reach a perfect state. And you guys were quick to point out the imperfections xD So heres a really short list containing some of the many things we improved.Huge performance improvement (especially for the late game)Adjustments of many decorations (making them easier to paint)ItemSplitPlant (recycler plant) - fixed some edge cases where the wrong stuff got spat outFixed some language specific issues in the creditsMade some stuff paintable, that somehow wasn't paintable beforeFlying dudes now can't drop presents out of boundsFixed a visual hermit crab bugMade some stuff save/load, that didn't save/load beforeprevented stuff from spawning directly behind biomsMany more little performance improvements and bug fixessome issues on mac with broken loading should be fixed now DatGestruepp made some amazing fan art!!!   Our Last Dev Update Before Launch

  🌿 One More Month... Garden Ink Releases on September 10th!Hi everyone! 💚It feels a little unreal to finally say this, but...🌸 Garden Ink is releasing on September 10th! 🌸We've been working on this little world for a long time now and knowing that you'll soon be able to experience the full game is both incredibly exciting and a tiny bit terrifying. We honestly can't wait.As this is our last development update before launch, we wanted to share what we've been up to and also ask for one small favor.🛠️ The Final StretchOver the last few weeks, our focus has been almost entirely on polish.That means lots (and lots) of:🐞 Bug fixes✨ General polishing🎮 Minigame improvements and balancing⚡ Performance tweaks💚 Small quality-of-life adjustmentsThere isn't much new content to show this time around and that's actually a good thing! At this stage, we're making sure everything feels as smooth and enjoyable as possible before release.
