  The Regreening Demo is OUT NOW! 🌱🦊

  Dear Friends!! 🌱 The wait is over, TELL EVERYONE! Your friends, your pets, and even your mom! The Regreening Demo is now available to play on Steam! After four playtests, thousands of players, lots of feedback, and more than a few bugs squashed along the way, we’re ready to open up the next chapter of Viri’s journey to everyone. Thank you for helping us get here! We’ve now reached over 50,000 wishlists, which is an incredible milestone for our little regreening journey. 💚 So, what’s waiting for you in the Demo?🌍 The Regreening Now Speaks 11 Languages! One big addition to the Demo is localization! You can now play in: EnglishGermanFrenchBelarusianCzechTurkishSimplified ChineseJapaneseKoreanBrazilian Portuguese Spanish As an international team, we’re very happy that many more of you (and us!) can now experience Viri’s journey in your own language. 💚📖 The Story Continues! The journey doesn’t stop at the Earthbound Plains anymore. The Demo expands the story and gives you new parts of the world to discover and restore. Meet Ophis and Lis, two new eccentric characters inspired by fairytales and legends. Explore an entirely new area, the Junkyard. Once you’ve made your way through, you’ll even get a sneak peek of the Gorge, another area that awaits Viri on her journey. There’s more to discover about the world, its inhabitants, and what happened here, but we’ll leave some things for you to find yourself :)♻️ More Recipes, Ingredients & Upcycling! We’ve expanded crafting with more than 15 new ingredients to discover and use in your recipes. The Upcycled Furniture Set is also now fully available, giving all that junk you find around the world a much prettier second life. Clean it up, collect what you need, and turn yesterday’s trash into something useful for your home and the world around you.   🐦 A New Animal Has Arrived! Crows have joined the ecosystem! Find, craft, and place Crow Habitats to welcome them back into the world.   Small delay on The Regreening Demo 😔💚

  Dear Friends! 🌱We have some important news.Unfortunately, we ran into some hiccups with our Steam Demo and will not be able to launch today as previously announced 😔But fear not! The bunnies, the butterflies, and everyone on our side have gathered to get the Steam Demo up and running as soon as possible!What does this mean for our future world restoration experts (that's you!!) ☝️👀We hope to set the demo live later this week, so keep an eye here and on our socials for updates.It might take a tiny bit longer than expected, but we're so so SO excited for you to get your hands on the demo!!!   Thank You for Playtesting! Our Demo Arrives on September 21st!

  Dear Friends! 🌱 Our playtests have officially come to an end, and before we move on to the next chapter of The Regreening, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us! THANK YOU FOR PLAYTESTING!Over the course of four playtests, 7,300 of you explored Viri's world, restored ecosystems, decorated your homes, hugged animals, reported bugs, shared feedback, and helped us improve the game along the way. You've spent, on average, about 1h and 15 min in the playtest, while over 600 players spent over 3 hours in the game!! And some of you played for more than 16 hours! 😮Since our first playtest, 35,000 people have discovered and wishlisted The Regreening (whaaat!!) Seeing so many of you spend time in the world we've been building has been incredible. Thank you for being part of it!🛠️ You Helped Us Make The Regreening Better The playtests weren't just about showing you a piece of what we've made and leaving it at that. Thanks to your reports, feedback, and suggestions, we've fixed more than 50 bugs and introduced features that made playing smoother and more convenient. That includes things like: 🌙 Auto-save, so your progress is safely stored at the end of the day;🌱 Unstick Player system and button, for those who love to explore the whole map (and its farthest corners!) and sometimes get stuck in between tiles; ⚙️ More settings and quality-of-life improvements, like sound level adjustments and an improved tutorial.We also did plenty of smaller fixes and improvements based directly on what you told us! So when you play The Regreening next time, some of the changes are there because of you 💚By the way, about the next time...📅 Save the date!! We're opening it up again as part of the Games composed in Germany Steam event!This update introduces dynamic weather, expands your decorating options with outdoor decorations (!!!) and a brand-new Upcycled Furniture Set, as well as makes 100% World Restoration possible! We've also added the first phase of controller support, improved trash rewards, introduced auto-save, and made plenty of quality-of-life improvements based on your feedback (thank you so much for it!)Just click "Join Playtest" on our Steam page and jump right in!
