Step into the shoes of a prisoner offered a choice: join an eerie trial or stay behind bars. As you observe and identify the bizarre shifts in reality, your path to freedom—or deeper confusion—awaits.
About this game

Sentenced to life in prison for your crimes, you’ve been given a rare and unexpected chance at freedom. The offer is simple but unsettling: participate in a highly experimental trial for a new drug designed to treat memory loss. In exchange, your sentence will be commuted. It’s an opportunity most would jump at, but nothing comes without a price.
The experiment seems straightforward. You’ll take the drug, enter an experiment room, and observe your surroundings. When you leave and return, you must identify what has changed and enter it into the computer system. Complete all three experiment rooms successfully, and you’ll earn your freedom.
But as the test progresses, the rooms begin to feel less like controlled environments and more like a nightmare. Is it the drug? The experiment? Or something more sinister lurking in the shadows?
Freedom is within your grasp, but can you trust your own mind to get you there?

Estimated Gameplay Time: Completion time varies, but the game is designed to be finished in approximately 3 hours or longer.
Explore Three Unique Rooms: Each room offers a distinct environment filled with dozens of object anomalies and events to discover.
Deadly Threats: Encounter many dangerous threats, each requiring a specific strategy to overcome. Failing to respond correctly will result in death.
Survive or Restart: Failing to identify anomalies correctly will cost you lives. If you run out of lives, you’ll be killed and must restart from the beginning of the current room.
Room Progression: Successfully completing a room unlocks the next. To finish the game, you must unlock and complete all three rooms and face a final task.
Permanent Room Unlocks: Progression is permanent; once a room is unlocked, it remains accessible, allowing you to restart from that room without needing to replay previous sections.
Discover the Story: The deeper you progress, the more the story unfolds. Find hidden details throughout your play to fully reveal the truth behind the experiment.
Two Difficulty Modes:
Standard Difficulty: The intended gameplay experience.
Hard Difficulty: A significant challenge for those seeking a more intense experience.

Patch 1.0.10 - Fixed bug with Steam Integration
This patch is to fix a bug caused by the Steam Integration which would cause an error when trying to grant a Steam achievement and was unable to connect to your Steam account. Steam achievements were being awarded at the final button push of the first and second level if you answered correctly and this error would soft lock the game as it would repeatedly run into this error. This should (fingers crossed) fix the soft locking issue at the button press of the first and second rooms. Thank you!Read full article on Community Announcements (Authogin)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch 1.0.9 - Potential Softlocking Fix
I have been getting some reports about a softlock that has been occurring on the final level of the first room. I have not been able to recreate this issue happening to directly fix the issue but have taken some steps that should hopefully correct the issue. Added additional checks every few seconds to make sure the computer button hitbox collision is active. Added a 60 second timer on the screen that will automatically submit an answer when the timer hits 0. I hope these changes help those who are experiencing this bug. If the bug still prevails and the expired timer does not progress the game, please email me directly at authogin@gmail.comRead full article on Community Announcements (Authogin)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch 1.0.8 - Steam Achievements

New Feature - Steam Achievements Steam Achievements have been added for completing each room on both Standard and Hard difficulty as well as experiencing each of the monsters at least once. Patch 1.0.7 - Mannequin Changes, Room Timer Skip Button, Anomaly Changes
Hey all, I have taken a couple days for myself but I am back for this update! I hope these changes make the mannequin feel a bit better to go up against! I have also been receiving feedback about some confusion on what is and is not an anomaly. I have decided to remove any light anomalies from the game and removed them as being a possible answer when submitting. The demonic lady causes lights to flicker and turn off and I think this will make this less confusing now. The computer will now directly state if what you think is an anomaly is not listed as an option, it is not an anomaly. Also I have heard some people wishing they could skip the 20 second timer for the rooms if they do not have an active threat in them, so I have put a button next to the door to do just that. Mannequin Changes The attacking mannequin will now be bright red and easy to see. You can now hide behind a wall and break your line of sight with the attacking mannequin to prevent it from killing you. Turning your back to it will still work to disable them. New Additions Added a button that immediately opens the exit door in the experiment rooms. This button will only be active if there are no active threats in the room. Changes Removed all light anomalies. The computer text when submitting an anomaly has been changed. If it is not listed on the computer, it is not an anomaly. Changed a few of the creature documents to more accurately describe the monsters and their counters. I should have another patch out soon, Monday or Tuesday, to re-enable the Steam achievements for the game as well as fix some menu options resetting when loading the game. All of your Steam progress has already been saved so once I re-enable the achievements, just loading up the game should reward you with everything you have earned previously. Thank you so much for the continued support! Have a great weekend! -AustinRead full article on Community Announcements (Authogin)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch 1.0.6 - New Anomalies, Hard Difficulty Changes, Performance Increases
Hey all, here is a patch to bring in many new anomalies, make hard more difficult and help a little bit with performance! Anomalies Many new anomalies in each room (around 15+ per room). Fixed some anomalies growing or shrinking much too quickly. Added a line in the mistakes screen for objects that moved location. Hard Difficulty Up to 2 threats may be active at time. Adjusted several threats to be harder to survive. Rooms without a threat active will be set to 20 seconds instead of 30 seconds. Threat Adjustments The Mannequins hit box to deactivate them has been increased. The Demonic Lady detection for how close the player is has been slightly increased. The Gatekeeper threat will now move slightly faster. Performance Adjusted some lights to only render as needed instead of every frame. This should slightly improve performance in some areas. Fixes Corrected the Gatekeeper creature sheet and it now always displays information. Corrected the Crying Lady creature sheet to display accurate information. Corrected some mistake anomaly texts not displaying what they were doing. Fixed some missing collision on a few objects. Updated occlusion to fix some graphical bugs. Known Issues to be Fixed: Here are some things I know about that I will be fixing soon: Resolution changes from the title screen scene to the main game scene. Some menu toggles reset (like Motion blur). This is just a visual bug but I will get it fixed. The FoV slider number does not update in the title screen. This works properly in the game scene. Lag spike when the Demonic Lady appears for the first time. Thank you all for the continued support! I will be continuing to make changes as needed!Read full article on Community Announcements (Authogin)
