About the Shuffler/Randomizer Mode:
The Shuffler/Randomizer Mode plays with a board game like progression. It picks a few randomly chosen games and each game plays for 3 rounds with the 3rd round playing at a faster speed. The main goal of Shuffler Mode is to get as high of a cumulative score as possible between the chosen games. The games are all designed to work well within this mode by keeping the controls and game mechanics simple, yet still be engaging and fun.
The Games:
Retro Endurance 8bit features many games based on favorite classic 8bit games. Games based on popular genres such as platformers, puzzles, brawler, racing, RPG, and much much more! No two games play alike and they are all designed to be fun as possible.
Currently, there are 52 games in Shuffler Mode and 20 full arcade games in Arcade Mode with more being added as the game is updated. New games are first added to Shuffler mode, then eventually added to Arcade Mode as full multi-stage arcade games.

About the game:
Solo developed game. Designed, coded, drawn, and composed by zsKnight of ZSNES.
Random generation algorithms in nearly all games so they will feel different each time you play them.
More games will be added and included free in future updates.
Many secrets and easter eggs to be discovered!

New Update! Snow Effects, Boss Rush, and the End Game with a new Boss Battle!
New Snow Effect! Here's a new update for all you people! One of the most requested feature is in: a new snow effect! For this snow effect, I've worked on it to act very similar to the one I've made over 20 years ago. I've studied the old code and even used the same positioning and velocity table values from the old source code to generate the effect. However, to unlock this, you'll need to work for it! It unlocks once you beat the end game. New Boss Rush Mode!So what's in the end game? Well, first you'll finally get to see what's behind that door to your left. Then you'll need to defeat the boss rush mode. You'll encounter all your previous boss battles, but this time they will all team up together against you.Once you beat it, you'll be free to go outside and explore! However, M.O.M. has always warned you about the dangers of going outside. So what challenges will you encounter? I'll let you find out, but it's a pretty fun and hard one. A part of it can also be considered a brand new game mode. Also, here are other fixes and improvements:- Improved collision detection in Robo Busters. Crystals on the ground can now be destroyed for points.- Fixed music/sound disabled properly on game slots other than 1- Cursor in match 3 puzzle game can now collect gems- Garbage Truck Hero (truck maze) controls are much better now, no longer gets stuck when trying to make a turn early- Spelling mistake in RPG arcade ending- The Dungeon now gives the player half second of invincibility when entering a room- Improved collisions in Ping Ball- New intro music- New AchievementsThe next update will be focused on converting more games into arcades, so be sure to look forward to it. Going to take a bit of a break from development for now, but i hope you'll enjoy this update. Getting closer and closer to getting out of Early Access!Read full article on Community Announcements (zsKnight)AnnouncementsOfficial

This one is a bit tricky to learn how to control, so spend some time getting to know this little bug.51st game - Burgers Yum!Quickly assemble those hamburgers for those hungry customers. But watch out for those with strict dietary needs!52nd game - Robo BustersPlay this wonky 3D-ish shoot 'em up and destroy all those robot heads trying to destroy our future!New accessibility features! Steam Deck Compatibility - Share your Experiences!
Hello there!I'm creating this post to gauge what your experience is when playing Retro Endurance 8bit on Steam Deck if you have one. Apparently, in order to get out some sort of information on Steam Deck compatibility, I'll need to create a Steam Event Post on it so that I can link it from the game page. So far, I've received multiple reports that this game works great on the Steam Deck, but I would greatly appreciate it if some of you can confirm this. Thanks so much!Read full article on Community Announcements (zsKnight)
