There are two stops on the road: a content patch coming next, and a big update we're building after that. Here's the plan. COMING IN THE NEXT PATCHOptimizationPerformance has been our main focus for this patch, and it's where most of our time has gone. The results are already showing: we've cut the load by up to 30-40% on the host and by up to 10-15% for everyone who joins, so co-op sessions should run noticeably smoother on every machine. P.S. On top of that, we're adding FSR and DLSS support, giving you more ways to get extra frames out of your hardware.New EventsSeveral new events are on their way to shake up your casino's routine. Expect a few surprises walking through the front door. Claw MachineEvery self-respecting casino needs one. The Claw Machine joins your floor as a new attraction, and it's not just for you: your friends and your casino's guests can try their luck too. It's simple, addictive, and just rigged enough to feel right at home in your casino.More Pawn Shop ItemsThe Pawn Shop is getting a fresh delivery. More items to buy and more reasons to drop by. The BoomboxMeet your casino's new DJ. Put a Boombox wherever you like, or pick it up and carry it around the floor with you. The music is spatial: the closer you are, the fuller the sound gets. You can switch stations and skip tracks right on the Boombox, so each corner of your casino can have its own vibe. Expanded SoundtrackMore music for the Boombox to play. Every forum thread, every Discord message, every bug report with a blurry screenshot attached. A huge amount of what shipped in Update 1.2 came straight out of those. We are a small team, and none of us expected the goose casino to end up in a hundred thousand libraries.And a massive thank you to every streamer and content creator who picked up the game. A lot of you found us because someone you watch decided to build a terrible casino on camera and let it burn down. We saw those videos. We saw the clips. Watching people play something you made, laughing at the parts you hoped would be funny, is genuinely the best part of this job. Thanks for all the reports since launch, keep them coming!Baccarat Rules FixOne Shared Player Hand: Baccarat now works the way the real game does. Everyone seated at the table bets on the same single Player hand going up against the Banker, instead of every seat being dealt its own separate hand. Update 1.2 finally delivers one of your most requested features, a proper Security Guard for your payroll, introduces Pets as a full gameplay mechanic free for every player, opens the doors to 6-player co-op, lets you repaint your casino with Neon LED Strips and full Lighting Control, deals in the classic Baccarat table, and adds a few very satisfying new toys, including a vacuum cleaner that eats money.We teased most of this in our sneak peek, and now it's finally live. Pets: A Brand-New Gameplay MechanicEvery casino needs a mascot. Pets are now a fully-fledged system in The House Always Wins, and the entire mechanic is included free in Update 1.2 for all players. No DLC required.Starter Companions: Every player gets the pet bed plus a Labrador and a Black Cat. Adopt one and it's yours.One Bed = One Animal: Place a pet bed from the Akei furniture shop and it becomes home to one companion. Want a whole menagerie?
